You know, when the singer had an intro I had trouble understanding what he was saying apart inviting people to visit Philippines :), but when he sang he was as crisp as an English speaking person can be. And that is another thing wonderful with The Beatles. It is very easy to sing with them. I actually learned to speak English (not my native mind you) very fast just by singing along when I was ten. Just really simple lyrics on top of beautiful melodies. By the time English classes started in my primary school two years later I was way above my school mates. Just one more note. These guys have charisma I haven't really noticed with that many tribute bands.
@@IztokGolob-Naklo thank you for your reply, yes I was just curious regarding your narrative. I'm Filipino yes English is our second language we use it as the medium of instruction in school and in official discourse we learn English from an early age kindergarten up to college. Our country, the Philippines is an archipelago consisting of 7 thousand plus Islands with 174 dialects. So an English speaking Filipino differ from each other in terms of intonation/accent and diffinately will indicate the province or region one comes from. Glad to have encountered you in this manner thru this platform nice knowing you, God bless you and your family !
Ricardo Creer hello, I hope you didn’t think I was trying to imply the band wasn’t that good speaking English. We don’t exactly sound like English or Americans either. I know a few things about Philippines, mostly from a strong American presence and WW2, as well as world basketball championships in Manila in 1978, which my former country Yugoslavia won. I was a kid back then but still I remember watching it. Take care.
@@IztokGolob-Naklo No not really, I am just reminded of my son in law who happends to be a native from the Caribbean, a Trinidadian their English is somewhat of British accent he talk fast, the reason why I find it difficult to easily understood him, by the way my daughter is an accountant a senior manager in an Accounting Firm assigned in his Country .
When they were interviewed in the US Embassy in Manila for a US Tour they were “Denied” for their Visa Application. That scheduled US Tour is for “Donations Relief Tour” for the Strongest Typhoon ever in the History that strucked the Philippines. They lived in that particular Island, the epicenter. That time, these Boys were thin and just wearing ordinary clothes and slippers due to financial difficulties living the life in a remote area. So, if someone enters the US Embassy for an interview for a “VISA Tour”, the Interviewer will expect a nice looking Rock Band. They look young Teeners in 2014, thin and wearing just ordinary clothes that doesn’t fit to the looks of the Embassy Personnel who Interviewed them. But, later due to the influence of the Organizers, they were allowed to the US. If the US Embassy Personnels will see this Stage Performance probably this time they will be amazed how good they are. Sometimes in everyone’s Life there are situations that someone looks “ UnderDog” being “Looked Down”.In the end, it will be astonishing and “Stunning”....That’s what it is...
Racist yan amerika.hindi naman tunay ally yan eh.gusto lang nyan gamitin tayo vassal nila.gusto nyan ipain tayo sa china.matutulad tayo syria iraq libya.
Similar story for Arnel Pineda, who became the frontman for Journey a while ago. He was first denied a visa because the guy didn't believe him. so he said "do wheel the sky", which he did, perfectly. The guy said "Your going to the USA. !!!!, We need more Filipinos in this country to help with our economy ,as they are hard working, and very entrepreneurial as part of their culture.
I agree these young men are phenomenally talented. I remember the first time I saw Bob Dylan Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, and these guys seem like they have that kind of amazing ability. I probably won't see them in 20 years but I hope they are that longlasting.
The Reo Brothers are fantastic. You are giving so much joy around the World at this very difficult time. Thank You all very much. We have a lot of Nurses from the philippines working here on the Frontline in Hospitals in Ireland. You are a very kind nature. Thank You all.
Could the 1959 Beatles ever imagined that they would have imitation bands of all nationalities replicating their look and sound so faithfully? I wonder if Paul and Ringo ever see these performers and what they think.
I have been a Brazilian musician and doctor for many years. Today I am 65 years old. I still have a band, too. kkkk. I play the guitar. You are a wonderful example of life. Musicians of extreme sensitivity and good musical taste. Your vocals are exceptional. They are not behind any world band. I was very touched when I first heard you. God continue to bless you all. I hope one day to be able to give each one a big and loving hug. A kiss in the hearts of everyone in the band.
We r 2019 August Beatles week in Liverpool , I am watching a live tribute today but they are nothing compare to you guys your voices and music is great and pure COME BACK IN LIVERPOOL
I am speechless for their performance, just wandering if they will have a world tour. Amid the outbreak, and if allowed, I will go anywhere in the world to watch them live. Their music brings me back to a lot of memories of my favourite band, the Beatles. I miss them sooooooooo much.
They do alot more than Beatles covers. Bee Gees, Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Buble and more. And they knock it out of the park every time. This is four years old and their talent has gotten better and better.
These kids are amazing.. They are all hardworking kids putting all their time and efforts for being a great musicians. Thank you for your great show.. You all are fantastic and amazing. Great performance guys!
My first experience with a Filo band was on a Carnival cruise ship listening to the Alterr Band. It was a request only band that played it all.....great Santana stuff as well.
You bring tears to my eyes. Knowing of your background. Born from the devastation of cyclones in Phillipines to make it through and present the world with your amazing abilities. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I've seen 1964 twice and Beatlemania along with The Liverpool Legends. These guys are really good and I would love to see them live. 1964 is still performing and doing a great job, they have had some member changes but still sound great.
@@ryanjordan6144 Clearly you don't know shit about what your talking about. 6.6k likes and 156 dislike (which you are probably part of) is a clear indication that these boys did a good job or maybe your another racist keyboard warrior who seem to think only white people can sound like other white people among other things.
Go fuck yourself asshole I was raised with the original Fab Four and entitled to my opinion. You wouldn’t know a Beatles song if it were screamed in your ear.
They are very very talented. That being said it amazes me that in the year 2020 there would be a group of Filipino brothers playing Beatles songs in the Cavern club, and are also dressed like the Beatles. Who would have ever thought that in the 60"s.
I'm commenting as songs change..'you can't do that' wow just great and the spirit of the songs are so finely captured like live Beatles. God bless you guys..
The filipinos are solid beatles lovers’ despite the bad misunderstanding and experience the group endured the last time they had a concert in that island’ .. the love for the beatles passed from generation to generation.. this wonderful kids are just one example
Aloha, guys you are amazing love it . Wish to see you all in Hawaii or send me email and let me know. I love you all. Mahalo Love ate Irene from Honolulu Hawaii
Extraordinary happening of the REO Brothers. It’s The Cavern, the original singing place of The Beatles. Thanks for your songs, REOs. You’ll have a long way to go with bright future. Kudos to you. God bless you, and stay safe.
The Bass player is damn good; reminds me of Paul with his playing style. The guy on the right (with the Gretsch) should be in the middle for authenticity.
" please try not to watch with ur hand finger while strumming with the guitar..in short ..one of them needs more practice..but I was really impressed good job "
Funny, when they were talking before they started playing I couldn't understand a word he was saying. Then they began playing and singing and they were perfect.
He was saying, they were from the Philippines, visit their beautiful country. People might be wondering .... they are Asian yet they sing like Caucasian.
You have to pay attention in order to understand what they are saying. If you can understand their music how come you cannot understand and you say a word. Wow!. I am pretty sure they can write the correct spelling too. Sometimes it is not nice to mentioned color in all aspect because as a human being we are all the same. Regardless. What matters is the presentation where ever we came from. Do not judge the book by its cover !!!
@@corazonnovalescaringal2452 Judge a book by it's cover? I said I had a problem understanding them speaking before they played. I'm not judging anyone. Hearing is one of the five senses and has zero to do with a persons character.
To have been part of Beatle mania really makes your stuff a winner. That young crowd loves it is testament to your band...even though to them it's oldies... it's the four lads... Thanks.
what sensible modern young people play classic music these days?...only the best can play the immortal classic masterpieces.....more power kabayan, proud Filipino here....
These guys sound great and the band is tight and on time! I was in a band for 10 years and I tell you we worked on sounding the best! Like our leader said...we want to sound like the record!
It is as if these guys become the people they play, no matter who it is they are playing. I can't wait to here some of there own stuff. I know it will be good!
You guys are a GREAT BAND!!! Beatles and Ventura highway were on the money!! My friend Francis P Tolentino from Manila turned me on to you guys and being a fellow musician I can really appreciate your talent! Rock on Boys!
ALmost every Filipino grows up with Karaoke. The average family may not have the luxuries but they have the gift of singing and playing music. Look at Arnel Pineda lead singer of Journey.
Filipino Beatles! Why didn’t I think of this 50 years ago? Ron Paragon and I could have done this if I hadn’t accidentally joined the Army. I guess Ron did too, the last time I saw him he was getting 86’d from the NCO club my band was playing in. I wonder where he is today.
Guys, I was in Subic Bay while in the Navy in 1972, the tribulation bands in Olongapo were fantastic! But, not as good as you!! I'm 70 years old, but remember at the age of 8 going to the movies on Saturdays to watch the new Beatles movies for 25 cents! It's also the reason I became a guitarist! The bands in Olongapo would let us Navy guys sometimes get up and play! Good memories!
