1) Shame on the umpire for not understanding the rules. 2) Shame on Beatriz for not conceding the point after the entire stadium saw the replay and the double bounce (and started booing) 3) Anna should have had the mental fortitude to not let it derail it as much as it (unfortunately) did All in all, Beatriz & Jack Draper will forever be known as the biggest cheaters of Summer '24 (along with the umps). US Open Officials should apologize for Anna for the absolutely atrocious call. Hope Wozniaki beats Beatriz tomorrow to right this wrong.

@@ZoiusGM 21:40. Seems the video review team left it to umpire to make the final call. Umpire seemed to hate Anna at the start of introduction when Anna didn’t shake mascots hand.

It was something else with draper because he acctualy didn't even notice the double bounce (you can see that in the replay he looks to FAA)

Refereeing mistakes happen all the time, but when it's in favor of an athlete from a South American or Asian country, it seems that americans and europeans get really upset about it, but if it's the other way around, that's fine. It's just a minor thing. Come on, stop being prejudiced!!! How embarrassing!

come on, 2 weeks after draper in cincinnati, that's not acceptable, I'm not a big fan of replacing empires by machines, but if they keep doing this, let's only have Hawk eyes and line bots in the future... referees are sooooooooo bad lately, as if they were doing it on purpose to stop working
