But then the companies that made them realised that if the products they made were going to last forever, then the company would go out of business fairly quickly. Thats when the theory of "planned obsolesence" was created. In order for a company to continually make a profit, they had to start making their products to wear out and break easily after a short period of time, so people had to keep buying new product. There is literally a light bulb that has been running for over 100 years without ever being turned off. Its still working today as you read this message. It was created before "planned obsolesence" became a necessity. Look it up on google if you want.

ok.. let say they do that.. but they need to make the price more affordable so if it breaks we easily buy a new one.. the price and the quality should match up.. for example if i bought a $2 earphone and breaks after two months, it will not hurt my feelings and i can easily buy another one..
