@ssvg pfl fck da radio She gets no RESPECT in the industry that she shook, We in the streets we luv and kno her worth, but the industry never brings her name up at all, female rapper, lyricist, or not
KLC described P to a tee when he said P knew how to simplify his rhymes to the beat. P wasnt the best rapper but had some of the hardest songs ever! P is a Genius!
P was a master at his style of reality rap....hell,99 ways 2 die&ghetto tryna kill me&ice cream man are the albums where he really spit them raw stories....
I thought Master P was a brilliant rapper in his earlier humble days because he had to be on top of his game. But I also thought he slacked off more as time went on - just my opinion!!!
I can't think of what song it is but she has a verse where she's spittin a verse but if you listen to her background voice, she's rapping another verse then she just merge it together...she's my best female rapper.
...."Trust my pen is an infa red/ hollow tips be my lyrics dipped in venom when i send em they split ya head" ....NIGGA WHT... Mia X always been one of my favorites.
Only because she wasn’t baring her skin or talking strictly about sex... Mia was lyrical and a beast on the mic but she wasn’t selling sex!! That’s why they don’t mention her wit them....
As a man who bought thousands of CDs back in the day, I appreciated No Limit’s packaging because I never had to worry about their cases breaking. They invested in solid thick cases that you had to try to break. The little things are what separates the best from the rest.
Assassin, soldier, sniper, murderer Son of a bitch, arsonist, house burglarer Been there, done most before the sun rose We changin clothes, when the po po's chase Narrow with the bass, got them hoes all in my face And them fake niggas hate, so I started different ways And even when I'm dead and gone My legacy'll live on Tatoo me on your arm and tell niggas he got his rhyme on
Mama Mia! The COLDEST LYCIST a female version of TIM SMOOTH (LEGEND) from New Orleans. Unquestionably the BEST female RAPPER. She writes HER OWN!!! NO GHOSTWRITERS!!!!
Man man man this interview just took me back in the time machine when i was a teen coming up buying all the no limit records listening to the music got me in here on 4/20 ready to blaze and and take a trip down memory lane with no limit 🙌🏿 those were the days fr
"Now you done pissed me off..." I completely agree with B-High on his comment.. Man if they could "find" those tracks and release em on a cd, I'd be willing to pay good money for em
Funny story: I had the damn TRU double disc album back in 97 and didn't even know what I had at the time. My step dad had got a bunch of CDs from somebody that hit the train. Next thing I know Im at school and start hearing folks bumpin No Limit Soldiers. I asked one of my friends like what is no limit soldiers? He was like that dat TRU.......I was like hold up I got that shit!! Lol Been a NL soldier 4 life since then!
Mia is the first female rap album I bought and the only one who's albums I continued to buy every time she came out still my top female artist bar none!
Just these brothers doing a indept interview on the good old days is a legendary thing because you haven't heard this much about the production and they truly deserve a documentary.Bi high God bless you and I see your love for this culture....much love to yall brothers and all my brothers out there....I love watching Bi high interviews
'Is There A Heaven For A Gangsta' - Damn sound like B High calling out All the classics off the top of his head(even the ones I forgot about). 'Swamp N's' 🤦🏾♂️ OMG !!!!!!
Mia the hardest female ever to come out the south. She very well may be the hardest female lyricist ever. Her and Lauren Hill may be neck and neck. Foxy, Nicki, Kim, Meg, Cardi and anyone else not even close. Cause Mia penned all her own bars
Every time I hear people talk about the best females rappers and Mia X name don’t come up it just hurt my soul.. she always held it down much respect to her
Beats By The Pound SMASHED every beat they did and you felt ALL of it. No one at the time could touch them-period! If they did it today they’d make everybody else lay it down. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I remember they tried to ban no limit from doin concerts in Detroit cause we would fk up the city literally when they came to the city...kane and abel came and talked at my school met and Mercedes 🔥
B High gotta get Mystikal and Mia X off in here for an interview. Might as well throw Gangsta Boo and La Chat off in the mix for interviews as well. Need to get their perspective from when HCP was at its peak And since we are on HCP, it's time to get some HCP interviews on here (Paul, Juice, Pat, etc.)
@bjmorris7414 I know but he can interview him again especially since they've gone viral several times since that interview 5-6 years. B Hgh does regular guests so might as well bring Paul back since he's become one of the GO TO black podcast hosts music wise
We can talk about lyrics all we want, but it’s something special to hear how a song is produced, producing a song requires a lot more work than just adding words to a beat.
Mia X a Legend...nothing F@$kn wit her...she always had me wondering an thinking what she gone do next....She was a ghost writer none where No Limit....Love Ya Mama Mia
Yeah that TRU 2 Da Game is a top 5 double CD all time As far as bang for your buck and hitting songs, there are hardly ANY skips on that album. And YES, I bought the original version with Smokin Green on it lol
I Love these interviews with the most under appreciated producers of all time! Wit KL Moby Craig B and Beats by the Pound, u fk wit 1 u fk wit us all! Free C Murda my twin from another city!
This is one of his dopest interviews ever!!!!! Looking forward to their documentary!!! Love to hear the back stories from producers about their songs!!!!
Man these songs sheesh you gotta be from the boot and just from that era man these dudes its hard to put it in words what they done in rap music period
Mia killed silk soldier record. “We come strapped and we roll thick/ we represent that tru click/ playa hatas yeah we know who are are/ put infrared dots on your head like the north star”. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
