Hello Ron, I was wondering if you you could help me out here? I’m willing to spend 350+ for my first pair of tws. I’ve been looking at all the brands but can’t seem to make up my mind. Im looking for an audiophile sound and optionally with some noise canceling for when it’s needed. I’m also definitely a bass head so that’s needed, but it’s gotta be clean. I’m right on the line between, nuratrue pro, technics az80 (very interested to see how the single 10mm drive compares to the triple drivers), the status, and mystique. I looked at bower and Wilkins pi7 s2 and the beoplays but assumed there’s gotta be something better.
Based on what you're looking for, I would recommend the NuraTrue Pro, Status Between 3ANC or the Beoplay EQ (for the sound + ANC). If ANC is not needed and you're not a bass head, I would recommend the Mystiques or the Beoplay EX. I hope that helps.
I like the Beats…don’t know why Apple doesn’t give us an EQ? I love the fit of the Beats and the sound is not bad. Technics AZ80 coming tomorrow, can’t wait!
