I’ve been underwhelmed with Bartlett so far this year in the BIG10s but this was a strong showing and if this is how he wrestles over the next month, he’ll be a champion.

Man these wrestlers at Penn State improve so much with every year, whereas Iowa seems to have the opposite effect on their athletes.

I have thought the same thing... It also seems like Penn State get their freshman up and running faster then Iowa.

As a PSU homer I've seen most of Beau's collegiate matches. He looked better in this one versus a quality opponent than I can ever recall. He has really improved and has a real shot at the top of the podium this year.

Bartlett has clearly taken his wrestling to another level. He looks so much more relaxed and confident on the mat this year. He flows smoothly.

Woods fell victim to the hawkeye program. Most of these transfers have 0 to 1 good years there then way underperform. If there isn't a coaching or philosophy change, the ferarris, keuter, and Arnold have at most 2 years at Iowa to make some noise before they don't even make the podium.
