I remember listening to Beau Jocque as a small boy in the 1990s. My uncle lived in Louisiana, I went to Louisiana, and my father’s friend gave him a cassette tape. Nostalgia!
I seen him play a lots my mom would take us and my dad when I was in my teens and when made 21 he was playing at lsidos in Lafayette Louisiana he let me play four song's on his accordion in1998 .

I am fortunate enough to have seen this film at the Cinema on the Bayou film festival in Lafayette. It's amazing footage of Beau Jocque, I wish I had been lucky enough to have seen him live.
