Totally agree with your assessment of New Orleans. We flew in there from Chicago, rented a car to go to Harrah’s Biloxi. Hated Bourbon Street…stayed for a few hours and left for Biloxi. Sometimes I think we didn’t give it a chance.
Thanks Don. We just got back from the Beau today. Had a great time! It was a last minute trip on the junket as I was on standby and they notified us of 2 seats opening up. Went to Island View and they doubled my Beau free play by emailing them a screenshot of my flip book email showing my free play amount and my name and players #. Easy process. @@MakeItHappenWithDon we rented a car and drove there and the scarlet pearl. Did well at both. You can Uber there its about 20 min away but we got a deal on the car. They will double your Beau free play. I played entirely on their free play.
@@MakeItHappenWithDon also it is a large casino with a smoke free one on the gulf. It isn’t in the Beau league but was okay. More of a locals casino. We are heading to Vegas on Sunday for 4 nights. 2 Aria 2 Cosmo.
@@bucksavage3571 We have 12 casinos on the coast. Island view will send you tons of comps. Suites on non smoking are really nice and updated. Scarlett Pearl out does Beau on suites and such. But im beau faithful. Its only Mgm thats close to u we drive over.
I like the Black Clover... Some nights they have a group performing in there. I don't think I have had a beignet with powdered sugar on it...The ones I have had just had regular sugar on them and sometimes a pinch of cinnamon. - I will try one on our tip this month.
Beignets are really good there. Try them. We have the myvegas app where you play slots just for fun and earn points. We always use some points for free Beignets.
I was glad you posted the review of New Orleans, it was quite an eye opener. Thank you for showing us your travel finds! It's nice to see new and useful gadgets. I wish we could get more direct flights from Ontario, Canada to places like Biloxi and that hotels had shuttles from the airport. I don't feel comfortable driving in a strange place. You are lucky to have MGM packages that include everything. It used to be like that in the late 80's early 90's here in Canada. We wouldn't see our luggage after checking in at the airport until we arrived in our room. The bus picked us up and there was a separate check in with the tour guide to help out. They booked all the free tours to Laughlin and State Line too. The flights had real food and drink too, lol. I miss those days. I see Caesars has started a total travel booking experience but for Canada at least it seems very expensive and none of the flights are direct, many have 5 or six hour layovers! I'm too old to have my trip take that long :)
Ahhhhh. The good Ole days. Times were much simpler for sure. We are truly blessed to live where we do. We are 1 hour from Cleveland and 1 hour from Pittsburgh. Flights are easy for us to find. And yes, I love not worrying about my bag. The bus to the Beau Rivage is so nice. Thanks for watching Lllian.
