Beausoleil Island - Georgian Bay Islands National Park
Taking the Day Tripper boat to Beausoleil Island, part of Georgian Bay Islands National Park. We hiked around the northern part of the island, taking a break for a swim at Honeymoon Bay. I spent the day with Steph of The World As I See It (ladystravelblog...) and Lindsay of I've Been Bit Travel Blog (ivebeenbit.ca).

One of my favorite areas! My parents had a summer place in that area for years. It is so gorgeous and now I miss it!!!

I really need to jump in my jeep and take a drive up there. All this beauty around me and I stay in the city or visit other parts of the world. It's a shame. :( lol

Hi, how much is the boat ride to Beausoleil Island? I am planning a trip there in a few weeks.

It appears to be $15.80 per person, includes park fees and return back to the mainland as well! You do need to reserve it in advance on the Parks Canada website. You can also take a look at this blog post for more details: ontariohiking.com/beausoleil-island/ Hope that's helpful! :)

@@JustinPlusLauren Thanks, the Daytripper ferry is no longer operational, so we have to use a private water taxi to the island, very expensive.
