Thanks for your comment! I was driving a rented car, but otherwise, I think the best is to get a taxi from the airport, knowing that taxis in Phuket are well-known to make you pay much more to the kilometre than in any other places in Thailand!

The pool is a great asset, and the private beach, at high tide (at low tide, it's rocky). I guess that the rooms would be better at the Centara Grand on Karon beach. The Dusit Thani Laguna has a great beach, but it's in Bang Tao, a little fare away from Patong.
