Egypt is a Bridge between Africa and the Middle East and always has been. It's a mix of African Nubian and Arab culture. The same way Turkey is a Bridge between Asia and Europe.
I'm always mesmerized by the music and culture. It has a sense of occasion and gravitas like very few. ❤ Arabs were the harbinger of science,mathematics and medicine,music and so much more.The world owes lot to these beautiful people and thier culture.
It makes me remember times when I traveled in the Middle East and North Africa over 40 years ago before things got so political. Sitting in small outdoor cafe's sipping mint tea and smoking a Hookah while this type of music blared on the radio. It was timeless.
You're so lucky, that's my dream. When I was a kid I begged my mom to take me to Egypt, but unfortunately I dont think it would be very safe for me to go there :(

it's soft, rhythmic and strong at the same time. As the desert wind moves the sand, so everything in me began to move while listening to this music. Arab music is one of the richest in the world; it is also strong because it has withstood the test of time and circumstances.
I went to Jordan in 2017, we went to a desert resort/oasis in the middle of the desert and mountains...it was the most beautiful thing I have experienced. It was peaceful and the sky was full of stars and there were fire torches...it just made the whole thing a true Arabian Night.

As I'm listen to that mix I remember my visit to Egypt two years ago - standing in the desert, in front of the Great Pyramid of Giza. It was pure magic! I left Cairo with an almost spiritual feeling..

I think the culture is wonderful. When you have the oportunity to sit among the elderly that can share stories. Now so much of that can leave us when we become busy in life. I had the oportunity to sit with beduins.

well considering the arab muslims occupied spain for 800 years... its pretty possible you might be part arab, since even when most of the arabs were kicked out, some managed to stay.

The vast desert combined with the vast night stars, it has a magical effects on everybody lived there, you'll understand it and feel it when you take a journey there, plus the Arabs has lived in the middle of great civilizations (Egypt/Ethiopia on west, Babylon/Assyria on north, Yemen on south, Persia/India on the east, that's what gave the Arabs their rich cultures, foods, musics, Poetry and Science.
It's amazing how now Islamic Arabia has managed to keep most of it's original music culture. Though Arabia and the Middle East might be a total religious and conservative region they take pride in their culture. Belly dancing and they Middle Eastern beat goes back at least 5000 years and it's still. beautiful. I'm actually a fanatic of most of the cradle of civilization.

First time I really listened to this is when I was playing a game using a hero version of Sultan Baibars. Not really a music expert here but what I can say is that it feels...serene. It feels as tho you are watching the sunset 🌇 as the final glimpse of the sun sets and a feeling of tranquility rush through your system as you adjourn to a night of feastful banquet. And now I find myself purchasing online a copy of Arabian Nights 🌙.
Every culture has their unique music tune and sound track and I like this diversity of music because in every tune and track you feel yourself in another world just one thing is common that they all are explaining the beauty of nature by their point of view

I remember walking there years ago and feeling the whole of human civilisation seeping up through those old rocks. Now the photo's make me cringe. Why can't we go back to killing each other with rocks? It's so much less destructive.

As I listen to the sounds of Arabia I can see the grains of sand flowing like water as they sail upon the desert's wind. And in my mind I know that through the years on the tides of time majestic mounds of sand known as dunes rise and fall like a cascade of waves upon the sea. Beneath a sky of crystalline stars glittering bright on a cold desert night I see they stretch out to infinity. But what I hear in my heart is the whispering silence of the deserts Soul as it quietly reminds me that all Life is One and that God is Great.

Excellent music. I've recently made some new friends from the Middle East and truly enjoy their friendship, hospitality and values! Their culture is rich, food is fantastic and, best of all, they make family time a high priority. If more Western people would learn from and have more relationships with people from the Middle East, the West would have less crime, less TV, less video games and less fast food. I have learned that Middle Eastern people like substance, not superficial living.
This and your other soundtracks got me through college. I remember staying up late writing my papers with all the music in the background. Few years later listening to this while writing scripts out is nostalgic. Love that years later there's still new music coming out. Keep up the great work!
Middle East...a great mystic and enchanted land. And Egypt...a glorious and mysterious land of the ancient civilization. (I just tried to describe it. Sorry if I write a wrong grammar haha)
