Haley....i just started watching u and your brother on youtube and it bring back so many memories.... i used to live in the Philippines for two years and married a beautiful philipina lady.....i always hear you and ur brother talk about how friendly and kind the philipino people are and they are........i don't don't know if you ever have been to Landan, south cot. A small farming community....farming pinnapple for dole...great friendly people.....it would be a good trip for u......keep bring back the memories....

I am from La Trinidad, 4 kilometers away from Baguio City. You included footages of the La Trinidad strawberry farm in your vlog...most of the products you see in Baguio, the vegetables, strawberries and souvenir items come from the Cordillera Administrative Region. Baguio City is the melting pot of the Cordillera Region and I think Baguio is not Baguio without the places surrounding it...pero nagpapaliwanag lang ako hihi

Hello Haley!! FYI, the Strawberry farm you went is actually not in Baguio. It is in La Trinidad. Both Baguio City and La Trinidad are in the Province of Benguet. God bless! :)

Hi Haley, this is the kind of travel vlog i have been looking for. Very informative yet entertaining at the same time. I'm from the Philippines but I've never been to Bagiuo and after watching this, it is definitely one of the places I would like to visit when I go back to the Philippines. Thank you so much for this wonderfully made vlog. I can tell you have put a lot of time and effort into it. Please do more travel vlogs like this where the viewers can also learn a lot about the history, culture, etc. and not just be entertained. I think you would be a great journalist. Unfortunately the Cafe by the Ruins where you dined at no longer exists. It burned down and the owners decided not to rebuild it anymore. Quite sad as it runs deep in our Baguio childhood. At least they have a new branch -- Cafe Dua. Thanks for covering our hometown! :) Not to nitpick, it's Casa Vallejo, not Cafe. :)

I was at Baguio during my Winter break! Next time you're there you should visit the Ben Cabrera museum and go eat at Good Taste. The food is good there.

Hi Haley! I am a 60 year old, disabled VN USAF Veteran and am considering retiring in Baguio. I have searched the world over for the perfect inexpensive place to retire and found 4 places that I have I narrowed it down to. Villacambo, Ecuador. Panajachel, Guatemala. Chiang Mai, Thailand and Baguio, PI. I spent 6 weeks in Pana and couldn't stand the kids trying to sell me stuff all day every day even as I tried to eat a meal in a restaurant. Villacamba, Ecuador where I have a friend living in says the closest decent hospital is hours away and I just spent the month of April in Chiang Mai which I loved BUT it was 100 degrees every freakin day and the language barrier is terrible! (I speak Spanish) I can't handle that. So Baguio looks like my last but best shot. Would you consider retiring there? :) I know at your sweet young age retirement doesn't even entire your mind but just imagine that you were 60 years old and were looking for a place to hang your hat and your dancing shoes for the long haul... Would love to hear your thoughts on the subject... :)
