The property is located in Puerto Angel, south of downtown Mahahual, municipality of Othón P. Blanco and is one of the eleven subdivisions (municipios) of the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. Its municipal seat is the city of Chetumal, which also serves as the state capital. In front of the lot, a few meters out to sea is a reef, ideal for snorkeling. Discover various types of grouper and small fish, starfish, snail, crab and lobster going about your usual daily activities on the reef. Also in this area between the months of June and November sea turtles come to nest every year. The local community is very committed to caring for the turtles and their nests.
Mahahual is located 21 miles from Chetumal´s airport. It is a quiet and little-known small fishing village, perfect for vacationing on the Costa Maya, which comes alive when cruise ships arrive at its port. It is home to the largest coral atoll in Mexico. That is why it is positioned as a paradise for diving lovers, as it also has the Banco Chinchorro Biosphere Reserve just an hour away by boat. This area is part of the second largest reef in the world where there are also more than 60 ships that have been shipwrecked since the 16th century.
