Beishan - I absolutely love this village. They converted old Chinese buildings (as old as a hundred years) into F&B outlets, shops, etc. They have all kinds of cuisine and we went to have lunch at a Hainese Chicken Rice Specialty shop. It was splendid. There's also an old Temple they converted into a Tea House by day and a Cocktail Bar by night. Another highlight is an old theatre they converted into a space where they sell all things vintage and they also have cake shops, coffee shops, and a barber within the whole complex. There's also a small Art boutique Hotel in this village. So beautiful. I will definitely go back there on my next visit.
