To our most Precious Guru Rinpoche 🙏🪷 The more I get to know his story, more I filled with joys and tears......Boudha Stupa has immense blessing, feeling sad that it went through reconstruction. 🙏
As far as i heard from my ancestors A licchavi king who was great devotee of goddes vajrayogini of Sakhu built stupa according to her instuction. King flew a rooster from top of the vajrayogini temple and was to built the stupa where hen landed. This is newari tale.original name for the stupa is Khasti mahachaitya, which means built fro dew drop. becasue at time when the stupa was bulit, the palce was hit by drought, and people had to bulit using dew drops

Bauddhanath is historical nice stupa of nepal.tibetan monks are mostly nonveg, alcoholic, living married luxury life. tibet.their kings were also monk in the luxury palace with queens.this kind of bad buddhism was born in tibet state of china.our monks are also following this bad buddhism.we should change it.
Shame on you ! Shame on you! for your ignorant and sinner..... such a poor soul, poor thoughts. Guru Padmasambhava is the founder of Tibetan Buddhism and he blessed all the himalaya regions. Thats one of the reason why Nepal is well known for. All Tibetans follow Buddha and the Precious Guru Padmasambhava( Guru Rinpoche, known as second Buddha and the protector of Buddhism). There were many enlightened Lamas in Tibet Buddhism.....when you know nothing about our religion than stop talking shit. Not recognizing The Great Religion is a waste of this life.
ccording to the history of Nepal, the palace of King Bikramaditya (Licchavi King) once stood where the Narayanhity Palace currently stands. King Vikramaditya instructed that a Dhunge Dhara should be built in the southern part of palace courtyard. But there was no sign of water from the Dhunge Dhara, for which the king consulted Astrologers. Astrologers suggested that a Human sacrifice with a male candidate having Battis-Lakshanas, or thirty-two perfections[4] should be performed. Only the king himself and his two princes were suitable candidates. So, the king decided to sacrifice himself and ordered one of his sons to sacrifice him so that sign of water could be seen at the Dhunge Dhara. According to local mythology, during the time of sacrifice, the head flew off to a place nearby Sankhu Bajrayogini Temple[5]. Stone made Head of King Vikramaditya in Bajrayogini The Great Stupa The prince then with a regretful heart, flew a hen from the top of Bajrayogini and decided to construct a Stupa where the hen landed. The hen landed in the place where Boudhanath Stupa is currently standing. During the same time, the place was struck with a Drought and the people managed to abate the scarcity of water by collecting the droplets of dew. So, the place was named Khāsti as in Nepal Bhasa, "khas" refers to dew and "ti" refers to drops. Later His Majesty Government of Nepal renamed the place from Khasti to Boudhanath in order to reflect Hinduism as being the Hindu Nation
