My favourite thing about the song and a detail a lot take for granted how the emotion of the song surpasses language as the songs fully sung in English meaning all these characters are hearing what is in the dr stone universe a currently dead language but even with that all the villagers are moved by the song despite not understanding a single word of it.

True, you don't need to understand the language to appreciate a song. But also, the languages are only temporarily dead, when they revive people in other countries, it will come back right?

I wouldn't say English is a dead language in the stone world. It would make perfect sense that the village is actually an English speaking community. As to be on the ISS you need to be fluent in either English or Russian and depending on which you're fluent, be able to speak basic of the other. Since the ISS crew was made up of 3 Russians, 2 Americans and 1 Japanese. it's a safe bet that the villagers native language isn't Japanese. Now with Lillian being a civilian chances of her knowing Russian is slim, and I've been told it's a harder language to learn than English. on top of that a lot of non English speaking countries teach English in their schools, where Russian and Japanese isn't. plus a lot of American media is sold to non English countries and a lot of people learn to speak it that way (which is also why a lot tend to pick up an American accent). So to solve the language barrier I'd say that the ISS crew would use English to communicate as it's considered my many across the world to be the "Universal Language". So in short the villages language is most likely to be English and least likely to be Japanese. However All that said I'd say that the village probably would speak (or at least understand for the most part) all 3 languages. as I'm sure the ISS crew would teach each other their languages and would definitely teach it their descendants.

Byakuya is one of the MVPs of the series. All of his moments are amazing. Sadly that the original voice actor had to pass away. But the current one doesn't have nothing to envy the first one.

0:55 well, it's about the size of a first "cellphone", or a mobile radio, like walkie-talkie. Soldiers carried them on their backs :) And keep in mind it can only transmit and recieve sound, so it's still just a radio. A cellphone needs a network.

I wouldn’t say that. Radios don’t have nearly as much range as the Senku Phone does. A walkie-talkie/radio would’ve been useless in Stone Wars

Radio signal, which in Senku's case is probably in the lower frequency range, travels much farther than microwave's of a cellphone, in terms of going through obstacles, like a forest. Cellphones also output miliwatts of power, Senku's radio can have more output power, especially because there isn't a tower and the signal has to be direct both ways. He can easily get a power output of over 10km. Typical handheld HAM radio "walkie talkie" can contact the ISS if you use a directional antenna, which is 400km above you in the shortest path. WWII walkie talkie had around 3-5 miles of range. You can get about 800m range from a very low power bluetooth now, so if Senku used anything more than 5 watts with AM then 5km is easy. Baofengs transmit around 35 miles, which is over 50km. Also Senku's phone is still just a simple two-way radio, as it isn't digital and doesn't use a "cell" network. Also it's theorized that the distance between kingdoms is around 12-14 hours of walking time, so that's around 50km too. TD;DR: Senku phone is a radio, it's not a cellphone without a network. It's a radio, which is at most a phone.

Speaker is a bee that you plug in stone. Loved that episode. Glass record and song were awesome ideas from Byakuya. Of course he needed other astronauts to make record player and Lilian to sing.

he made a cell phone, not a smartphone, meaning it is wireless telephone capable of comunicating on long distance to selected other device of the same kind they only used smartphone image because it was plot related to the backstory, but senku used keitai word to describe it, meaning cell phone

I know i might be late with it or maybe somebody mentioned it before (in episodes where Ishigami village was revealed), but u can clearly see the resemblence of current villagers and ansestors. Kinro and Ginro - pure Shamyl split into 2, Kaseki - clearly Yakov descendent (also the crafting skills) and its pretty clear that Ruri and Kohaku is almost spitting image of Lilian. Also u can see it in other villagers (like 3 sisters for another example). So this whole generations parallel is quite good.

If they were already recording on a bottle, wouldn't it be better to use a cylinder instead of a plate? Since the cylinder has a larger area, that means more space for recording, and on the bottom of the bottle you could write an explanation of what it is.

It's likely due to people not being used to hearing English when they exclusively listen to Japanese in anime. I don't think it's as weird as people make it out to be.

Just so you know, the reason that it is in English for her singing, is due to the fact the anime is made to be watched in English, all of the villagers were taught how to write and speak in English. (Even shown in the story.) And because Lillian is an English Pop idol.
