I think if his opponent was a boy and not a girl, he might have done things differently. For most guys, it's hard to try to inflict pain on a girl. Especially if you're raised to protect them and not hurt them
💯👆🏽For starters, his hands would have been placed and pressing all over his body: chest, inside legs, neck choke, covering mouth etc, all of which decent boys would not do to a girl as it is anathema to them; all of these tools, he did not employ against this girl which probably led to his loss. Unwittingly, this highlights a perennial problem between the sexes in that: men are taught their whole lives, how to treat women but not what to expect from them. For women, it's converse (although that is not so much relevant here)
@@innertubez it's the protective instincts of most males. It's got nothing to do with sexual preference. In highschool, we had two girls decide to join the football team and nobody would hit them. Some of the younger, smaller guys would lightly block them but nobody would aggressively go at them like we would the other guys. Some guys might just smash a female competitor. I'm sure of it, but it's been my experience that most guys, not all, but most are raised to defend and protect females. I realize that's not what "progressive" society teaches people. That doesn't make it any less true
I am a Black Belt in BJJ, and trained since I was 15 years old and been in many competitions. I will soon be 31 next month. I can honestly tell you, he was going easy on her. He was being respectful to a woman, and hats off to him for that. Guys are naturally stronger.
His heart wasn't in it. You could see that he didn't want to hurt this pretty young girl. She won on his inability to commit to do whatever it took to win this competition. BJJ, wrestling, or boxing... most sports have rulesets/strategies that'd get you destroyed in a real fight. I'd lay off the "stupid" accusations if you can't even understand someone's point.
It's hard to believe a female straight up wins these matches because just how seriously are these guys taking the female? Are the guys really going all out in effort, or are they holding back? Because these relaxed looks they always have on them are certainly not what we see from these guys when they're going against another male. So yeah, I'm just skeptical of just how legit these matches are on the guys' part, but that's just me
& I'll say this (without out the perverted intentions). Like what if a guy is legitimately attracted to the female, especially to a level of trying to avoid arousement. Don't you think that's possibly distracting enough to cause room for slight error where the female can then capitalize? It's a legit question! So again, yeah, I simply find these hard to believe...

It is absolutely vital that women in martial arts classes spar against men, so they will be used to handling BIGGER, stronger opponents. Typically, it is cowardly men who attack women on the streets, for obvious reasons. Them, & the elderly...

Yes, at some points, he was even supporting her weight and in doing so, helping her not expend so much energy clinging to him, which left her easier able to focus on that omoplata (which, make no mistake, was her sole objective) - he just did not seem to see it coming, only that she merely wanted to control his wrist. This is all not to detract from her win and her ability in general though - both of which are most commendable👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Combat Sports use to be about the best techniques for conquering an opponent in a street fight. Now days they are learning bad techniques because it's more about the sport. Butt scoots- good, elbow to back of the head- bad. 😂 Good luck kids, you're being taught by nerds who turned it into a safe sport.
This is why BJJ is a joke to me, she wins only because he is not willing to inflict violence upon her, which means this is not an actual fight, this is advanced foreplay.
Be honest here. That boy without skill could beat a woman five weight classes above him. He was taking it easy. He could have easily peeled her off. Male strength and female strength are not in the same universe.
I think for the girl's best interest guys should go harder on them just enough for them to reach their best version of themselves because crushing them completely won't get them to their best but neither will going easier on them

As a Army MACP instructor I had 2 extremely competent Level 2 young female assistant instructors, who were amazing BJJ practitioners, as they would tie most of us in knots. Their stand up was for lack of a better term, "nonexistent." After a year & a half of rigorous training, conducting classes for our client units at North Fort Hood, we literally exchanged skillsets with each other. My strength was stand up kickboxing, yet my BJJ submissions were lacking. My takedown & control skills as a Jr High & HS wrestler helped out a lot. The 2 gals got really good at stand up Muay Thai, elbows, knees punches & kicks. This was probably my best times throughout my Army career. Too bad it only ran in 2 year CONUS deployments...
The host of the video said it clearly. Most of the skepticism in these comments is probably from guys who have never trained. So they rely on sexist nonsense or just general ignorance about fighting and competing. You know, it's funny, the girls can't get a break. If the girl wins, it's either "she used her sexuality" or "he didn't want to hurt her." But if the guy wins, it's "guys are always better than women so women shouldn't compete with guys." Come on dude get a grip . There are many highly skilled and athletic female girls on you tube , who I don't doubt one second could defeat most untrained or lower ranked guys ..but the difference is , you can tell from their intensity and athleticism , that they're the real deal. No offences to this girl in the video , but this looks like a total put up job . The guy could have applied pressure to her nose , until she was forced to let go out of pain..unless he's rediculously weak , how the hell did she keep his arm up his back from her own position..very difficult to get the leverage . I saw no intensity or signs of effort from the guy , to get his own arm.out or push her off of him. Nor did I see enough intensity of effort on her part , to really make this so called submission look like the real deal. Hence , I'm wagering it's fake and was entirely staged .

I'm sure there are matches where women beat men legit, but this is probably not one of them. It's not likely to happen in real combat, but the possibility exists, so everyone needs to be paying attention.

This is ridiculous bullshit . All the guy had to do was push her nose up and back , with full force from his other hand . And she would have had to let go or readjust her hand positioning . I don't doubt Jiu Jitsu being many times an equalizer ..I've seen some pretty athletic and skilled girls defeating bigger , less to no talented guys ..But you could tell their submissions were much more dangerous and locked in . But the way she supposedly had this guy's arm trapped like in a traditional wrestling Arm lock from that position, I'm not buying it. Either the guy is a total weakling , is incompetent , not really trying , or else the entire thing is deliberately faked . And regardless of the effectiveness of many grappling skills shown all over the internet these days ... ( Of which I myself am a fan ), don't believe for a second that it in and off itself , is going to help you win in a street fight or life and death struggle , where strikes , kicks , and weapons etc , can be used .
If slams are illegal in a tournament, then so too should be climbing on top of a standing opponent, just asking to be slammed. If you lift an opponent above waist-height it should count as a submission, because slamming at that height can be deadly
Sorry but that was just ridiculous. I'm all for technical martial arts but he could have just bellyflopped and give her a concussion in a real fight... That fight was nothing but a joke to me.. in UFC people try this and get their whole carrer ended because it's only effective under certain rulesets.. bjj the guy chokes you but i can't feed him knuckle sandwiches? I cannot believe that girl did not break that guy's arm. She did everything to destroy it, and somehow this guy’s arm comes out in one piece. 😮 Also, at the end of the match, the girl doesn’t even know how to react to her own victory. What’s up with that? Is it an Asian cultural thing? 😮
In my opinion, the boy was able to control the situation very well and bear the weight of the girl, in my opinion, if the girl was in that boy's place, he could not bear that much.
He was not taking her seriously. Either that or he was tired. Cause there is no way he didnt know what she was going for..also he could hae shook her off in the beginning but you can see him holding her up
