Filmed during my trip to South America. I didn't have the chance to film a lot of elevators, because most of the buildings are very secure, and I did not want to catch attention. So disappointing as I saw so many interesting old and grotty elevators like this one.
In Buenos Aires, there are a lot of "galerias" inside buildings, where sometimes there are elevators. This one is an example. The elevator is in the middle of the galeria, with a full glass shaft ! At first I thought the elevator was removed but then, I saw someone calling the elevator. The name of the galeria is "Galeria de la flor", on 670 Florida street.

gated and glass is unusual.

Vancity Elevators it was very strange, at first I thought there was no elevator here, like if it was removed, because on the ground floor there's no clue that there's an elevator here. It was a sort of glass shaft with nothing in it. No cables, no counterweight, nothing except the guide rails, so this might be a winding drum elevator. Then I saw someone calling the elevator.

pas mal , j'ai jamais vu un gated tout en verre , au début je pensais que c'etait un ascenseur a portes automatiques des années 80 ;)

IDLift3000 yeah :) this was my dream, to film another Mitsubishi ! The video will be uploaded very soon. I currently have problems with internet at home so it takes like 6 hours to upload one video.

Yes, I was at Rio de Janeiro for 3 days before visiting Argentina. I only managed to film 1 elevator (at my hotel). I have not uploaded the video yet.

Cet endroit où les variateurs de fréquences n'existent pas, les ascendrurd sont assez beaux mais moins développés dans les années 70, en France il serait déja remplacé ou modernisé, mais ça serait des portes automatiques

Quand j'y étais j'en ai vu tellement des ascenseurs à portes manuelles ! Je dirais que la moitié des ascenseurs de Buenos Aires sont comme ça. Dommage que j'ai pas pu en filmer plus, beaucoup d'immeubles ont des concierges et des grilles solides.
