I thought your makeup (your eyes is particular looked divine), hair and new lipstick choices were great! You really look great in "bolder" colours! Thanks for the video. I've used these lipsticks for the last few years. Seeing the colors on their website on the arm and seeing them on your lips was definitely different. I've really liked surf berry on the website, but seeing it on your lips let me see how pink it is which it doesn't look that way on the website. Very helpful!!!!

I am the opposite. I look at the color and then the cause. I don't care that much about the packaging. Rose Petal is my favorite. I ordered it a few weeks ago.
HI! You are cracking me up! I literally laughed out loud when you said you needed to fluff your hair for that color pink! I just have a quick question … your bio hair is brown but you are morphing into a blonde with cool tones...definitely brightens your face and wearing cooler tones on the make up...so is this something that as we age we should lean towards ( our bio hair turns grey thus cooler) or is it just an individual thing? I purchased a new wig cooler in tones and I am getting comments like "you look younger" These lip colors except for rose gold all seem cooler In tone as well. Just wondering if going cooler is intentional. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for this video. I, too, have seen this company on my FB feed. I hesitate to buy because I have about a zillion lipsticks I never use due to feathering and the color being slightly different from the dot on the box. I'm going to dump all those and order ASAP. Thank you, again!
I enjoyed this video. I love lipsticks, and pot glosses. This brand reminds me of Sephora's, Lip Stories packaging. Will order some, as they seem creamy. Hope they do not have a funny taste or smell to them.

Do you still purchase from the company? I saw another video that said the lipsticks are not consistent in shades. I would hate to get one that I love and never be able to purchase the exact color.

These come across my IG feed as well. Are they drying and do they last? I noticed your lips got crinkly at the end so I wonder if your lips felt dry. BTW...the Rose Gold is the only one that makes your face come alive. I know you are cool toned and gravitate that way and you don't need to change all your makeup..just use a tad warmer, peachy-pink blush and wear at least one warm color near your face, like a scarf or necklace, etc. You'd be surprised at the compliments. I'd say you have a "winter" complexion which means you can actually wear any color if you adjust your makeup. As a hair color tech, I'd say you look best in darker hair colors.
If you go to the Color the World site, you will see all five star reviews. This immediately throws up a red flag for me. When you look at their FB page, you will not see any negative posts because the company deletes them. I know this because mine was deleted. I purchased two lipsticks from them. The tubes are made of colored cardboard and I had trouble removing the top. The bullet of lipstick is about half the length of normal lipstick, so you're getting less product. The colors were not even close to being the same as shown on the CTW website. They advertise "no feathering" but I experienced mega feathering. After applying the lipstick, my lips felt moisturized and smooth -- until an hour later when almost all the color had disappeared and I was left with dry lips. If Color the World deletes bad reviews and posts, if they misrepresent the benefits of their product, if they don't disclose how small the product is, and if they advertise one color and send another . . . why would I believe that they really do give money to charity?
MoonMyst I adore these lipsticks. I have not experienced dry lips from their use. I think they are lovely, and tend to reach for them often. I bought them all with my own money, and am not affiliated with them in any way. I am sorry you have had a different experience entirely. I do appreciate your post, thank you for commenting, and for sharing.
I recently ordered two and I like the cardboard tubes and the lipsticks. Also, the lipstick is just as big as the Loreal I usually buy. I'm older and like the lipstick because it really does not feather on me, and the color lasts. The colors I ordered are more peach than I expected, but I should have probably ordered from their cool palette. I understand the 5-star reviews because of the lipstick's performance on us older gals. I do wish they sold samples, though, as all lipsticks change color on me; theirs less than some others.
Been using this wonderful brand for years and have not had a single issue as you describe. The lipsticks may be a tad smaller, but they are so rich, and color saturated they last forever! The colors have always been true to their advertising. I am so glad I found this brand!
Dear Jill, I love your videos and your skincare site (love the Allison products you recommend, too). But I emphatically disagree with your new slogan. Aging is a plain fact of life, not 'an attitude.' Nope, no way no how, and it's hurtful, potentially and literally harmful to believe it. The body changes over time, and a happy face emoji can just cover up symptoms that should be treated by a doctor or counselor At best, regular women who believe that motto are in for a sad shock. Accepting the changes is a healthier position. To be sure, have fun with it all, and do the most with what you've got, at any age. Agree?
Of course aging is a fact of life, of course it's a REAL physiological thing. Like every single thing in life, much of what may be thrown our way may be out of our control, but how it effects us can indeed be in our control. I refuse to become a crochety old woman who allows aging to turn me into a biiter, sad person which would be easy to do because there is plenty about aging that could very easily bring me down that slippery slope. I watched the ugly side of aging and what it can do with my own parents...dimentia being a hard thing to witness in my father. We age...we lose our parents that there is the worst part of my experience thus far. BUT when I say AGING IS AN ATTITUDE what this means is YOU ARE WHAT YOU throw out to the Universe, and I CHOOSE to age with grace, confidence and humor and allow the ugly part of aging to not DEFINE my aging journey. Attitude IS everything, Attitude can be positive or negative....it shapes who you are and it is how you interpret your experiences. It's taking the wheel and being the driver of your life , and I don't know about you but I like navigating. So, while you have chosen to take that slogan and twist it into something negative and even think it harmful...you have missed the opportunity of empowerment ....what is behind the message, and that's unfortunate.

I cherish the complements for my looks - much younger than my age. Living in Thailand for past 43 plus years I fequently go to USA to visit my children who are settled there. I am always looking for something good for my hair, skin and eyes care as well as for lipistics that will suit me. This morning, I got to know about this brand of lipstics from a friend living in USA and in one of my WhatsApp groups. I am not sure if I can find this brand here in Thailand but will definitely look for these during my next visit to USA (hopefully next year - praying for COVID19 Pandemic to be over by then)!! I also loved your make up and would like to know about the foundation and other skin care products that you use!! :)
Shucks. I'm interested in the product, but *you're so washed-out* in this video (lighting is too bright/"hot"), which makes it difficult to determine what the true coloring might look like. I hope you don't mind the feedback. :)
Leanne Mo could it be your monitor? What I’m seeing is a pretty good representation.... but, that can vary depending on what your settings are on your tv, laptop or phone.

MABYLLINE COLOR WAS CALLED MOCHA ICE. WAS A REALLY LIGHT BEIGE COLOR BUT FROSTED. 🤦🏼♀️ SHES IN HER 80’s GOD BLESS HER. SHES BEAT CANCER 3x AND MEANS THE WORLD TO ME. WITH THAT SAID SHES VERY OPINIONATED LOL 😂. WAS LOOKING AT CASHMERE SHADE IN A DIFF VIDEO.
