I first met AMMA in Dallas, Texas over 25 years ago. When she embraced me... I felt the sadness of a lifetime melt away. I knew I was in the presence of a Saint. Three years later, I went to see Amma, again. After waiting in the long line to approach her...I saw her face light up. She said something to me. The aid next to Amma told me that she'd said, "I'm so happy to see you, again!" A miracle.

Though I am personally an atheist, I can see that she brings happiness and love to so many people. Me and my whole family have been treated all along at Amrita Hospital... And now they have built a new, largest hospital in North India. That's a great thing. All these people have already accepted her philosophy and teaching which perhaps have done them good... How many of them are calling their mothers as Amma in their houses ? How many of these devotees are greeting and hugging their own Ammas very oftenly ? How many of them are taking care of their old parents and giving un conditional love to their parents and children?

GREAT questions!!!! Sadly people are funny to fall for this artificial hug and kiss.... Nothing real matters to these people!!!!!!!!!!... why can't they hug their OWN mothers???? Believe in the true Living God - Jesus Christ????? Humans are sadly and stupidly gullible... Such people are taking advantage of these people. Atleast one consolation is that she is not like Rajneesh/Osho..

People can take care of their parents as well have faith in a guru who shows them the path at the same time. These two things are not mutually exclusive. If you have a problem with people who revere enlightened spiritual beings , then just don't watch these videos and mind your own damn business.
