Quel lieu tant magique !!!!!!! Un bâtiment qui raconte des histoires......des bâtiments majestueux au fond de la nature .........thanks boys excellent vidéo
I think there is a need to distinguish between a "ksar" and a "kasbah". A ksar is a fortified village surrounded by a wall which includes hundreds of dwellings inside, not to mention the mosque (sometimes a synagogue too), narow streets, the collective bath, the bakery and a place where celebrations were held. However a kasbah is a high square building with towers at each angle. It was intended to house families of notables and those with economic or warlike weight. A kasbah could be included in the ksar or separated from it.. Thanks for sharing and have a nice night.
Absolutely amazing. You couldn’t build any more environmentally friendly and yet we build with concrete, brick and steel....I know which one I would consider more advanced.Great work you two,You rock the Kasbah!.Best wishes..
Great video! Those landscapes are truly mind blowing. I'm a new subscriber and just found your channel few days ago while doing some research because travelling/moving to southern Morocco this year. Can you please share the name of that music track starting at 1:57?? I really liked that kind of dark and mystic Arabic music. Would love to hear more. Also good choice for the scenery. Greetings from Finland and thanks for doing these vids!
Welcome Atro! I’m not sure about the music as it was from the RU-vid audio library. Since it’s dark and Arabic I believe the word jinn or djinn is in the title. Where in the south are you looking at?
@@MorAcro Okay. I found it thank you so much! I'm planning to head to the city of Zagora or somewhere around Erfoud and Rissani. Hard to make decision between those two areas cause both seems to be so beautiful and authentic in their own ways. I'm working as a digital nomad but don't need fast internet all the time so that also affects to my plans for sure. I've also checked Alba's channel and he has inspired me a lot too. As I'm looking a same kind of simple Moroccan apartment with low cost of living like he has/had in Ouarzazate which also seems to be a good city to move in. But for some reason those smaller town closer to Sahara desert truly attracts me more. What you guys think about the Zagora area for living as you've been visiting there? Any pros or cons in mind? And thanks so much for reply. I appreciate it.
@@pimento420 ahhh yes, Alba's simple digs. I loved Ouarzazate, really chilled out and beautiful...we never stopped in Zagora so I cannot say...warning is in the summer if you stay that long it will be HOT HOT HOT. I am more of a sea person so I could never get used to desert living....the draa valley was so beautiful with all the palms, at least there you get some shade!
@@MorAcro Ohright. I'm more like an opposite. Always liked inland's dry and hot climate more. I like it when it's boiling hot, the more the better.. I once moved to southern Spain coast but soon headed to inland and even those +38 celsius (in the shadows) days wasn't too hot for me. So I think I could get used to desert living for even longer periods but challenging it will be for sure. That's also why I'm looking for those beautiful oasis towns, the more trees the more shade and hopefully some, even a small place where to dip into the water to cool down in those hot summer days. :) Thank you so much again for your reply.
Casbah is a remember to the Moroccan middle age. In Europe it called burg where lived the seigneur or caid. In USA the history was beginning with cowboys and western. Hope you like it
I was there. For me I feel always in frienden when I arrive there. The money hat not value. The people are originally. It's very farway but interesting
