Beautiful Mountains: Belmont, California

After finding a used DJI Mavic Air during a sunny summer in beautiful Northern California, I was naturally obliged to make a video homage to this town I love.
This video still doesn't do justice to Belmont's beauty. I only captured maybe a tenth of the town's most beautiful sites (and that's a generous estimate). Though you might not see it in any tour guides, Belmont is a quite stunner.
I tried to make this video a sort of audiovisual ASMR. Follow these steps:
1) Put on some headphones.
2) Press play.
3) Enjoy your glide over Belmont's luscious hillsides and gentle canyons.
Shot on a DJI Mavic Air at 4K 30FPS. Edited and color graded with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

this town was my home, I grew up there, my family was there, my earliest memories were there. this was my home, at least it used to be, I don't recognize it now, it has changed so much.

Thanks for putting this video together. It's amazing how much has changed. I used to live there from the late 70's to the late 90's growing up on San Juan Blvd. Went to Fox, Ralston, then off to Carlmont. Crazy to think how much has changed and thinking about the time when there was a lot less houses and traffic. Going up to Sugerloaf, building some tree houses around the creek, and just exploring the open areas (including the old horse ranch). Good times!

Lived in that area in the 80's and it was wonderful. By the 90's it began a change I didn't care for. Sure glad I'm not in the Bay Area these days.

My family moved to Belmont in 1985. I now live in San Diego but I still visit my mother twice a year there. Belmont is beautiful and I may move back to Belmont when I retire. I remember back in the 80s I biked up Ralston and get to the top before the 92 entrance. There was a horse ranch and I used to whistle and the horses would come to the fence and let me pet them. Now that area is full of expensive homes. I hope they stop building new homes and maintain the bucolic atmosphere in Belmont.
