I wasn’t laughing AT the people in the video, and I wasn’t making fun of them. I was enjoying the music, and I laughed because the video very unexpectedly jumped to extreme close up shots of random people, and it surprised me. Remember, I don’t understand the lyrics, so the context of the video is lost to me. I just see the images, and it was a shock, that’s all ☺️

I read it after I heard the song, and it’s beautiful! I already owned a book of Nerudas poetry, I just didn’t realise that’s what the song was!
