Beautiful Off-Grid Tiny House Truck Made From 85% Recycled Materials

Take a tour of Adam and Sian’s beautiful off-grid tiny house truck, which was built using mostly reclaimed materials on the back of a 1969 Bedford. The house truck is full of light and space, with an open-plan kitchen, living and bedroom area and a fancy shower set-up on the back porch.
The couple describe the building process and the events that decided them on leaving a conventional home and city life to take up this much simpler way of living that they find more satisfying.

Wow! I love how she describes everything as being beautiful. It shows the appreciation and love for what they've done. Not my cup of tea but definitely inspired to go for what I feel is right for me. A beautiful house that is so well planned without losing it's soul. The wall of storage/shelving is functional but gorgeous at the same time. Earthy, inviting, relaxing, peaceful, characterful - a true reflection of its owners!

just a couple more years before my children fly from the nest..(or not-lol) husband and I have talked about going off grid for about 3 yrs now. The defining moment between then (when we began talking about it) and the future (when kids are grown) is that NOW-We will be debt free Nov1, 2016!! We can actually begin this dream, realistically...right now! These OH so inspiring videos mean the world to me! Thank you and keep them coming!

This IS SUCH A GREAT HOUSE!!! I love the beautiful lay out and wood crafting. The loft is the best I've seen yet...you can really use it as a living space. If I were younger, this is what I would do....but as a woman age 67 it would be tough to pull off so I will stay content crafting in my little back yard shed.

Love the outhouse idea and the shower in back. Gets very cold where I live and the shower would need more enclosed but for warmer areas, it's great.

LOVED this. For Off Grid Hot Water we use a 40 gallon stainless steel wood fired "kettle" that we bought from the Amish. The saddle tank on the wood stove did not produce enough hot water for a family of 5's dishes, laundry, baths/showers... Hot water is an essential and one of the big problems for "Off Griders". The wood fired kettle solves that issue. All you need is wood and rain water.

What a nice house. I like that they don't have to climb a ladder into the loft and this looks like it has plenty of headroom. Also it's much nicer when you don't try to cram the bathroom facilities inside the house.

So, so good. Very nice to see what have built. I think like you, my partner and are looking at doing to same thing. We are based in the UK, planning and getting past the controls is an issue, but people are starting to find a way to work. Climate issues are starting to have an impact and it will help to wake systems up.
