The ride up to Lake Tahoe on highway 50 is so beautiful along with the lake . I’m grateful I moved within an hour driving time of this lake. It’s a wonderful day or overnight trip for folks like me who have retired just outside of a very busy city ( Sacramento) 🙂

Rivers are clear Glaciers are cold I wish could visit these Before I get old

Lake Tahoe is very cold, it only varies in temperature by 5 points all year round, its around 50-55 degrees, its very easy to get hypothermia very quickly

For sure canary islands deserve an honorable mention for their cristal clear ocean water

Talk about being lucky to have lived close to ginnie springs Fl and know I live close to Lake Tahoe (California side) have been to both and they really are amazing! Another place that should have been here is Bonito Brazil.

Lake Crescent in Port Angeles, Washington is cleaner than Tahoe!

I was upset seeing part one without Lake Tahoe when it finally popped up in this one I yelled (finally! Heck ya) lol

I went to the place in Iceland but there is a current so if can’t get through it u will get pulled into the other lake and will probably die of the coldness

I used to live in Florida and used to go camping in ginnie springs often and let me tell you the place is absolutely beautiful, love that place, but people that go camping behave (myself included) like they are on spring break or a big crazy rave 24/7 . It’s privately owned, all kinds of crazy things people do both inside and outside... in short don’t drink the water please! If you don’t believe me go ahead and check the videos on RU-vid!

20 years ago, in Florida, the Ichetuknee was crystal clear (and cold!) and folks would tube down the river or free swim and it was fascinatingly beautiful under the surface. Surely I was a mermaid! But I've moved out of state and wonder if it is still as beautiful.

I live in Florida and we have some of the worlds greats crystal spring you can do a top 20 just in this state.

U describe lake Tahoe as the best place w/ 30-20 m visibility, while U describe waters w/ visibility of 60 & 80 m. According to a documentary I saw on TV during the 80's, the World's clearest waters are at a complex of lakes in West Madagaskar, just on the tropic!

Jenny Springs is popular in Florida, but before going in the water think about the fact that HUGE gators are everywhere, GATORS ARE AGRESSIVE DURING MATING SEASON, & one tourist was killed by a gator a few years ago at one of the springs. Just like the little boy who was at a Disney lake in Orlando, and was killed by a gator. I was at a State park near Sarasota, canoeing in a river, and there were dozens of gators everywhere. It was nerve racking for me & in spite of warning signs a few people were swimming.

Trust I live in Florida the springs are great but there's only like 3 that's warm all others are extremely cold

There is 1 lake its not the clearest but its worth telling The lake baikal:baikal lake is 25-30M years old ancient lake which is the OLDEST LAKE on earth and it contains 20% of the worlds freshwater :)
