In the darkest night, it's the stars that shine through the sky, also shine through my body into every single pieces of veins and bloods. As if my body was on firefly hot temperature, enough to undead forever, nor for never. Each small but brightly star lights thought the rocks upon the sky and between the young boy. Pleasing his empty and cold heart, waking him up to face the greatest enemy, himself. Brining up the hardest challenge, living, the young boy reached his hand onto the shiny rocks, all of the sudden, a pieces of light shines through the the surface, and slowing more and more lights. As there were the darkness and evils inside of him being shaded away by the lights, pealing bits by bits.

1992

"Face it... they aren't coming back. We got ditched." Personne said grumpily. The stars illuminating the three girls under the silvery glow of the moon. "I have faith they will be back." Ichigo said as she sat cross legged in front of the building. "Its been weeks already. Those two can literally teleport." Personne grimaced. "Actually, if I'm being honest... there is a complication." Ichigo said sheepishly as she peered at Personne. "And what would that be? You know what I don't care. It's been weeks. We can't sit around forever waiting for those two to get back! And if it was important, why did you keep your mouth shut this whole time?!" Personne bared her fangs at Ichigo, who looked at her toes. "I know that Haliel left us on his own. I tried to stop him... but he put me to sleep." Ichigo rubbed her thumbs together. "Haliel? He left without us?" Personne stopped for a second. "And lemme guess, that egghead brother of his bolted after him." Ichigo shrugged. "I have no idea. Perhaps. I was put to sleep by Haliel and you all were awake by the time I had come to." "Why did you wait so long to tell us? We wasted weeks of our time just sitting here!" Personne grabbed Ichigo by her robe and hoisted her to her feet. Ichigo looked away from her, before answering, "I thought that-" but personne screamed in her face "You thought wrong! We were abandoned!" Personne tossed Ichigo into the building roughly. But neither Ichigo nor Personne could have known the truth. That Haliel sacrificed his life to protect them all in the dead of that night. And that through his sacrifice, they stood there now. Of course they would be upset. But they would be alive. And that was what he was hoping for. But that sacrifice is unsung, for they think that they were intentionally left behind. "You know..." ichigo said, picking herself off the ground. "Now that Keith and Haliel are not here anymore..." She continued, as she glared at Personne. Personne turned around and quickly drew her sword to parry Ichigo's thrust. Her vibrant blue blade merely inches from her heart. "There's nobody left to stop me from killing you." "You idiot! I put up with your constant asassassination attempts because Haliel always stopped you, but if this is the path you want to go down, then so be it." Personne's eyes flashed crimson red as she growled. Ichigo stood at her full height, and slowly affixed a white and red fox mask to her face. "Then let it be told in blood, that your final words were defiance to the gods." Personne leaped back as Ichigo unsheathed her katana from her hip and stood there silently as she held both Oni-kiri and Daito-maru. Taline, a silent participant in the bickering of both girls said finally, "I hate it when my sisters fight. Please stop. I can't watch you two hate each other." Taline spoke softly, gripping her stone slab of a giant hammer tightly. "No, I refuse. This idiot is adamant about dying to me, so ill oblige her!" "No, you are the idiot! You are a demon! And I will exterminate all demons in my sight!!!" Ichigo bolted forward, dodging low underneath an attempted thrust from Personne. "I'm a natural born Vampire! Not the same thing as your run of the mill demons you idiot!" Personne jumped back again as Ichigo began attacking with both swords. "Its all the same to me Personne, you know that." I will exterminate all of the darkness that your kind bring!" Taline stepped in between both Ichigo and Personne as they attacked each other and let both girls impale her body. Knowing that she was essentially immortal, she grabbed Personne and Ichigo by their sword arms and lifted them effortlessly into the air. "I refuse to stand by and watch you two try to kill each other." Taline spoke softly, yet sternly. "You are like sisters to me. You both have taught me so much. And I look up to you both very much." "That is why if you two cannot understand that, then I will have to step in." "Taline..." personne said taken aback. Ichigo said nothing behind her mask. She simply glared at Personne. "I'm afraid I cannot let this hatred go." Ichigo said as she disappeared in a puff of blue smoke. Taline quickly let Personne go, as a smoky blue samurai appeared from nowhere and attempted to bifurcate Personne, who ducked low and impaled the smoky apparition. "This is the path of the Kamigawa, you know? The path of the demon slayer. _my_ path." Ichigo said, her voice reverberating everywhere, but her body was nowhere to be found. Such is the skill of the ninja clan that specialize in hunting demons. Ichigo appeared to melt into view from a shadow, her fox mask still attached to her face. But Personne could smell something unusual about Ichigo. She smiled gently and walked from behind Taline who tried to reach for her to stop her but didn't, seeing Personne smiling. Ichigo rushed in screaming and Personne dropped her sword opening her arms wide. Ichigo crashed into Personne, sending them both to the ground. Ichigo scrambled for her sword and held it at Personne's throat. "Do it, idiot." Personne said, breathing heavily. "But when you do... do it as Ichigo Kamigawa. Not like this..." Personne reached up and grabbed the fox mask and gently pulled it from her face. Revealing that Ichigo was crying. Her tears rolled like a waterfall, but she was silent. "You idiot." Personne wiped the tears from her face, saying "you know I could smell that right?" "But why?" Ichigo began to tremble and sob. "Because you and I both know that not everything that is dark... is evil. Isn't it because of the darkness... that we can see the stars? And aren't they lovely?" Ichigo and Personne looked up at the night sky. The stars twinkled like little diamonds as if to affirm Personne's words. "They are. You know... my father often looked up to the sky for advice when he was unsure of what to do." Ichigo said, dropping her sword. "And what about you?" Personne asked softly. Ichigo looked down at Ichigo and for the first time since they had met... really looked at her. Personne was a fairly tall woman, with an ample bust and fair skinned. Her eyes glowed in the dark, as all demons' did, but her eyes told her a story about sadness that only a Human's could. Personne had short but silver colored hair, and pointed teeth that portrayed her as a typical Vampire, but her lips were soft as she breathed heavily. Her bosom rising and falling to match Ichigo's own. Personne stared at Ichigo and Ichigo stared at Personne. For how long, only Taline could have known. But to them, they soaked in each other's appearances and forms. Ichigo was short for a woman, with long black and silky hair, tied up into a ponytail at the base of her head, with childish features and a button nose. Her black colored eyes large and crescent shaped. She wasn't "womanly" but her body was soft to the touch and well toned, from the harsh living she had undertaken. It was there in that moment... that Ichigo leaned into Personne and kissed her on the lips. They stayed paired together for some time as they finally realized that they didn't hate each other at all. And now they could be honest with themselves. Once they broke apart, Personne wiped Ichigo's wetness from her face before laughing softly and began crying herself. "You idiot!" She playfully said. Ichigo smiled sheepishly as she wiped her tears away on her clothes, standing up off of Personne. Once they were both standing again, Ichigo picked up her blue hued sword and held it firmly within her hand. "For a very long time, I felt as though I was alone. Even during our travels... I know what I must do, for the first time since I was a young girl." Ichigo muttered. "It is unfortunate. But it seems our paths seperate here. I must return home and restore my clan." Personne nodded, "and I must return to mine as well. I have to kill my father, after all." "I wish our love was not fated to the ill winds of fate, dear friend... but I will always hold onto this memory for as long as I remain with breath in my breast." "You idiot... you'll always be welcome to come visit me in my Estate. Once I clean up my father's mess... I'll be sure to come see you, so you better eat good." "Same to you, Personne. Once I have retrieved my Clan's treasures and have restored my families name... I would like to taste the finer dishes of your countries' food." Ichigo smiled. "You know... my real name is Laurilae... Laurilae Aurand. And I will await that day to see you again. House Aurand will welcome you as royalty itself." Personne hugged Ichigo tightly. When they turned to thank Taline... she was gone. Taline had melted into the darkness as she left on her own search of self discovery. And so they parted. Ichigo returned to her home in Japan, and Personne returned to her Estate in the Franco kingdom.
