The ring was stunning and for sentimental reasons, it seems quite hard nosed to sell it when it was given to her by her mother even if she doesn’t like it.
Maybe if it had been in the family for a few generations, but it was a recent gift and her right to do what she wants with it....she doesn't like it so why should she not cash it in and buy something she likes? Maybe her mother could have given her cash to buy a gift she liked rather than risk spending an inordinate amount of money on a new ring that simply lined the jeweller's pocket.....maybe that 5000 euros would have been more appreciated as a house deposit.
@@bobstirling6885 no. I dont agree. If I don;t like a thing I get rid. Why be beholden to someonelses sentimentality. there is nothing to say her mm was attached to it.
@Maria Houlihan well, one selfish reason would be that after she makes her mother feel an unappreciated fool it might be the last gift the shallow spoiled girl gets.
My dad gifted me with a men's diamond ring in 18k yellow gold, as I turned 18 and sell it as it was quit big for me. He died a couple of years ago and wished I didn't let it slip for cash.
All I can think about is his tan. I’m a very bad person. But I just have to say, Away put thy bronzer! One George Hamilton is enough! We love you just the way you are.
