Help me in the name of Jesus Christ. My life is in danger, I am being persecuted by the Iranian government for being cleansed and converted to the religion of Jesus Christ
Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 (B)Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of (C)evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 (D)Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for (E)so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. I will pray for you, do not forget, CHRIST has overcome this evil nightmare world!!!
@@kardonspeaker1238 Johnny, patience is no hope for a better tomorrow. I have set foot on the path of truth, righteousness and salvation, but I am stoned and my body is flogged! My brother, it is very difficult to distinguish right from wrong ...
I am a Lutheran and have a great respect for the Othodox brethren. The true church is one, holy, catholic and apostolic. I pray to God that one day the whole church will be inserted in the true apostolic succession and that we will all be one body in Christ.
Dear brother, I'm an orthodox from Romania. If you are interested to know more about orthodoxy please feel free to contact me and I'll will try to share with you something from our life in Christ
Lenovo Empire did you seriously just say that Romanian is older than Latin. You must be moronic. That’s not even possible. Romanian comes from Latin just like Italian and Spanish. You aren’t special. That would be like saying that serbian is older than Church Slavonic. Just plain moronic.
For those from the Westerns Europe should know that the Rumanian language was artificially composed in the XIX Century. Before that time the Rumanian language was old Serbian language, because the Romanians according to the latest DNA analysis are the same as the Serbian people. The Rumanian church was under the canonical jurisdiction all the way to the 1921, when they were given their own national church administrations. But if you are listening their liturgy and the choir signings all is identical to the Serbian church liturgy and choir singing. They were TOLD that they were Roman people by the end of XIX century but they all know that it was a fat lie. Love from Serbia, our dear brothers and sisters.
Православље Maxboy50 Roman Empire occupied 14% of Dacia for just 165 years. They occupied entire Palestine for 400 years approx., entire Greece for almost 600 years and they speak not even a drop of latin. And they, romans, retired from here because of the several attacks of the free dacians. Do you think they, dacians, leaved their language to hug the invaders' language, in so little time, not only on 14% of land that was conquered, but on entire territory?! The most of the dacians not even heard about romans, not phone or tv or internet apply then::)) And many of the free dacians continued to fight romans till their retirement.
It's interesting how the way the Romanians sound when chanting the prayers sounds exactly like the Armenians... Must've been contact between the two and influenced each other.
I stop going to the Russian Orthodox Church because they have forgotten their 70 years as an underground church. Is the a Romanian Orthodox Church in the Bay Area in or around San Francisco?
Douglas Matley I'm favourable to your comment, but why ask something like that on RU-vid, where the majority of people reading will not be orthodox, nor American, let alone Romanian Orthodox from Bay Area or whatever? Wouldn't it be easier to look it up for yourself? After all, you show some knowledge of using the computer and browsing the internet, or you wouldn't be here. Don't take it the wrong way, I just thought it's hilarious. And that's because I wanted to help you out, until it dawned on me how stupid it would be to Google for you a church to go to, when you can just as well do that yourself.

It is beautiful. But I have two questions. There do not appear to be any women present. Why ? All my atlases and maps have "Roumania" and in french "Roumanie". When and why was the u dropped ?
It is a rule that states that women sit on the left side of the church and men on the right. So the women are behind the camera. There was not an "u", except in french. Romania derives from "romanian", which in turn derives from latin word "romanus", meaning "roman" or "of Rome"
This feels very homely, havent been at home in Romania for 3 years, Catholic churces arent Bad but... something's missing. Where is the wine, bread, singing, ear raping metal klinging, tasty wine, and most importantly, why does all clothing look like an oversized towel? We have beautiful patterns and colors, this "thing" just feels wrong
Invata istorie omule. In tarile romane sa tinut slujba in slavone timp de secole. Acum ca Daci s-au crestinat inainte de slavi sunt de acord, dar asta nu schimba faptul ca slava si greaca erau limbile bisericii si ca la noi s-a tinut slujba in slava timp de secole.

And God gave them up. the religious leaders disregarded God's word whenever it contradicts their traditions of chants, customs, festivals and beliefs. not once did i see the people directed to read from the bible. and i never saw a bible opened. God wants the people to learn about him. not come and see men in full dress swinging incense. they profess to know god. but they dont know him.
Steven C Please study Orthodoxy and then review your comment. Orthodox study the Bible weekly and read in our homes. Our children learn scripture in Sunday School and most have the Orthodox Study Bible when they graduate. Devine liturgy is so holy and ancient. The Epistle and Gospel are read each Sunday.
I think you should really study the origin of the Bible from the historical perspective. You will learn that the first edit and translation of the Bible was done.by a monk named Jerome.(He was Catholic since Rome and Constantanople would separate until about 700 yrs later. A Church council would decide the final content of the Bible. Thank God they did, otherwise you be reading the Book of Enoch, the Gospel of Peter, the Infancy Gospel of Jesus, and of course, the Gnostic Gospel of Thomas in the original Kline, class Hebrew, or Aramaic. You really should thank the Orthodox and.Catholic Christians for for giving you the Bible so you are able to wave it in our faces
You don’t go to Church to study the Bible. You go to church to worship and experience God. Studying you do at home in combination with prayer. At Church your focus is on God and God alone.
Only begotten son and immortal word of God, who for our salvation didst will to be incarnate, of the holy Theotokos and ever Virgin Mary, who without change didst become man and was crucified, o Christ our God. Trampling down death by death, who art one of the Holy Trinity, save us. This is the Orthodox faith, and from it we cannot depart. I will pray for you though, and that we may come to a greater understanding of each other :-)
