Kitties are pretty much self-sufficient. The reason why it seems like they're sleeping all time is because they are nocturnal animals. I think it's so cool they're stealthy at night & don't make enough noise to awaken us at night. MEOW! ❤❤❤🥰💯💋🙃🇺🇲

@@KerryLynne-xq1vg Kittens are NOT self-sufficient. Although they do sleep about 16 hours a day, so entertainment requirements are low. They are not nocturnal animals either; they are most active at dusk and dawn. At night you usually don`t hear them because they are mostly sleeping, just like you. And often close to you.

I am a cat breeder and I do not recommend this approach to them. They are not living toys that you can even decorate as you like. These animals hate this, even dressing. Their entire body is sensitive, their hairs are for detecting the environment. When you wrap them in some clothes, they feel uncomfortable, restricted. Imagine if someone did this to you and against your will! How would you react?

@@juja988 I have cats, my daughter breeds cats. The cat will let them know if he doesn't appreciate it. And you as a cat breeder should know that. My daughter has one cat that loves loves loves to be groomed and dressed up. His brother tolerates it . The rest of her personal cats won't have it at all . She does family photos of her n her husband wearing cat mom and dad attire, 2 cats are dressed up for whatever occasion as the other 4 look at them all , as if to say, lucky I'm sitting for this at all hurry up. Clearly those 4 don't wear outfits . Can barely get a collar on them 🙄 🤣😂

@@juja988 the whiskers, paws and tails are for environment. Fur is for protection. Did you know cats tails are similar to monkey tails? Used for balance and affection and multitude of other things.

The cat wanted to be with them. My cats come and go as they please. My daughters stay inside or in her cat yard. Personal preference and no abuse. Cats aren't like dogs, as you know. They will dip if they aren't happy, especially one that used to be a stray

Yeah, the cats is too friendly and never bite or fight back whenever get pushed or annoyed, but if they keep doing it, just matter of time before he start being temperamental and bite, we can see he is so friendly at the beginning.

It’s sad to see that she seems to love cats but she does not know the correct way to treat cats. I started feeling uncomfortable at the beginning of this video when I found that although she already has a cat at home and should have some basic knowledge and experience about raising cats, she still fed salty sausage and human food to this cat

He is possibly a lost cat, given his lineage and he's so approachable. Being so sweetly loving i would think so. And yes don't tease him he's very greatful to you for giving him a loving home, but he's not a dog..and doesn't like being handled like one. Cats polite with you, learn to think ..catlike..cat play.

I wonder if Van Cats are similar to Ragdolls ...because this kitty seems very tolerant & laid-back like a Ragdoll ...but he doesn't seem to have the "lions mane" or ruff around his neck ...especially under the neck & on the chest like a Ragdoll ...but he has the mild temperament of a Ragdoll & is very beautiful. I wish she had saved the poor mother who looks like she may not be able to withstand another winter!! Poor kitty ...street cats around the world would naturally be reduced if they were spayed & neutered in all the countries & that way ALL cats could have a loving home as is ideal for these mostly domesticated wonderful friends of mankind. They were trained centuries ago to save the grain from mice. We should be grateful for all the good they have provided mankind in getting rid of disease-carrying pests ...and treat these valuable creatures with respect!! That said I'm very glad they saved 'Little Pretty'!!!

This lady keeps disturbing this cat while it is trying to sleep on the bed .... very aggravating to watch this. Cats sleep 16 - 20 hours a day, but she always wants him to be awake, so cruel. And if cat does not like playing, stop forcing the issue. She keeps saying cat is lazy and is always hungry .... does she forget how this cat starved while being on the streets as a stray ?? I am happy this couple adopted this sweet cat, but the lack of common sense is alarming at times !

Yes, I agree with the other comments. He is a beautiful cat. You saved him from the streets and got him the medical care he needed. That was wonderful. And he is now so clean and beautiful. But he needs to sleep 16 or more hours a day. And I csn tell by watching that sometimes when you think you are playing with him, you are actually teasing him and maybe hurting him. You should not use your hands while playing with cats. They get annoyed and may learn to bite and scratch. Please keep him being a gentle cat. Don't wake him, and don't pull on his legs and put your finger in his face. Play with feather toys and toy mice. Thank you for taking him in. He loves you and your husband for saving him.
