Sweet hunt! Amazing last year KG5 dime! Any wreatheds I’ve pulled from lakes are usually black or grey. Awesome haul of clad and sweet silver ring score! Summer has been unusual here in Ontario with relatively stable dry weather, low humidity and comfortable temps. Usually it’s wave after wave of hot sticky humidity. ATB and happy hunting!
Nice hunt and a little bit of silver is better than nothing. Got some video binging to do. Been up on the Michigan upper peninsula, hunting parks and beaches.

Don't know if you know this but using polarised sunglasses it takes the ripples out of the water meaning that you can see through the water way better, but they've got to be polarised.

Great hunt! Flower ring-cute, the clam shell, popular in the “70”s, hinged so either the top or bottom. What year is the colored bluenose? I have never seen one. Good variety
Yes it could be jade, we have huge jade deposits where I live. I haven't hunted salt water but I do prefer water hunting, as the targets are fewer but better quality. Cheers Nacho!
Got stuck in the middle of a thunder, lightning and downpour a couple days ago. Only place to go... In a baseball dugout which was all metal, benches metal and I put my metal detector away from me. 😳. Yep, I was scared.
R Dogg I’m looking to buy my first detector. I bought a bounty hunter from Canadian tire but it was a little too cheap for my liking so I returned it. Do you have a recommendation for a good detector under $1000?
I do recommend the equinox 800 or 600. it's the only machine I have used that allows you to run iron discrimination on, and still finds our Canadian coins. they are fairly light and waterproof. Cheers & good luck!
