Not sure why RU-vid suggested this, but it was fun to watch. I remember being so frustrated with this. I couldn’t help to think how much crafting has changed and hasn’t. Card still looks great and with nesting dies and a stamping platform, I’m sure even easier to get results closer to your lovely card. Thank you for sharing
How interesting that you said that Shawn! I too was just was directed to this video of Ann's and was silently wishing she had all the new tools back then that have appeared since this video was made. Stamping was so hit and miss and there was even a lack of non-permanent adhesive snails back then.I 'm an avid follower and customer of Ann's, but only within the past year or so. If you haven't checked Ann's shop out there are some great prices and the stuff is all equally as good or even better then huge brands supply! She also posts to other countries besides the UK.😀
Thank you so much Ann, I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and beautiful card. It’s really really stunning and beautiful too. And I’ve watched again, just to remind me of how it’s done it’s fabulous. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
When attaching cardstock to cardstock only pull a small amount of tape backing off to the side gives you time to adjust the piece if needed, or placing glue on the tape gives a little wiggle room if needed, love your card ideas!
Lovely card Ann and although the black and white is so striking, i do like the original colour scheme as it is just so unusual and so pretty. Thank you flower for making the video. x
I’ve seen a few of these in Facebook groups recently, but (disappointingly) without an explanation of the method. Thank you, Ann. I am very much looking forward to making these as Christmas cards this year. ❤
Love this card. Black and white is stunning. I'm thinking of a smaller size to try. It would be extra postage for a 6 x6 card. And I have to make the envelope cause I don't normally do that size card. But I do love this. Love every video I see. So clever and never a disappoint. Thanks for sharing. .
Hi Laura! Yes, of course you can adapt the idea to make a smaller card. I often begin with the size of card and envelope I have here and then just adjust the measurements to fit - or these days one can use dies of course - to reduce the sizes of the layers. The basic principle is just the same. Also - you can do the exact same process with designer papers- just so long as you make sure the layers line up of course. That can look very special! x
@@dianewray1867 thanks for replying. Have to get motivated on card making lately. Lol. Too many things going on. But will try this. Haveca great day and a Happy Thanksgiving to you and family.
I am so very glad that you kept this video on but never have I seen that technique it is so beautiful I subscribe to your channel hoping to see some more stuff from you thank you so much for the great video tutorial
I enjoy your videos so very much, you truly inspire me to try the cards and crafts you create. I am new to stamping but look forward to get my creative juices flowing...keep them coming
I know it's been awhile you made this, but it's still quite beautiful! I'm hoping I still have his stamp set. I want to use this to make a wedding card, actually invites. I think she'd really like these.
Brilliant video thank you. Aw, I could feel your back ache at one stage. I hope you got it sorted ok and that it's not an ongoing thing. Back issues are very painful. Love the way you explained this. I've seen it so many times and have been so daunted to try so far but you explain things so clearly I'm gonna just HAVE to give it a bash. Video definitely going into my list to keep referring back to. Thank you so much for sharing it
I think this is my favourite card. I enjoy you and your videos and thought I had subscribed but had not. So now I am subscribed and look forward to seeing more! TFS! 🇨🇦
Ann. Have only just found your videos and I have to say I thoroughly enjoy watching them. They are very clear and easy to understand. Thankyou for taking the time to post. A non related craft question, I hope you don't mind, but I love your watch in this video - what make is it? Beverley
Hi Anne, do you swap your stamp with punches once in a while? I think it is to expensive to buy many of these sets.. and after a while you don't want to use the same for all your cards or crafts... I see so many i want to buy, but they are very expensive. Don't know what to buy, something i can always use.. but even that wil expire.. Maybee you can share swaps of these sets in you account or group?
