I like what you are trying to do with vlogs so well done. Most the designs do look the same I agree. Bangladesh designers seems to be 30-40 years behind in design styles. They all have these pillars which reminds me of old American mansions from movies. If you search for luxury mansions in America or Dubai very few are in this style now days.

Those villas/mansions you've shown are more suited in a town, Sylhet town basha. Unless, the plot of land is small, so people do floors up. Normally tradition bari ghor are only ground floor, saw one in your video. Fushkoni, swimming pond right at the entrance, need to keep an eye on younstars who don't know swimming. Going from UK, village life in desh is more better, open, peaceful. Whereas the town basha is just for shopping and staying few nights and then going back to village.
Also if a basha in the town or ghor in the bari is built, within one's means and visited by the family alternate years or something is good. But most are left deserted for many years, hardly anyone visits. And also some build it way beyond their means, going into debt and borrowing money, just to compete with others or show off
Oh god I got shook when I went to the barriet in 2018 with family since my last encounter there (2012) wasn't so pleasant especially with the bugs. When I went there in 2018, It had progress done to it, all the bugs were gone, certain rooms were modified and those mods were recent but before I came in 2018. Then when I came with my Mum and dad and little brother, my dad got my cousins to get them internet works to install internet and then we also got a Smart TV ftom Walton which isn't as fast as the LG WebOS type smart TV we have in the UK but it does super well. And now in 2020 we had our side of the barriet house (call it whatever) had all stuff moved out of it and demolished in favour of the new much better barriet that's under construction that will resume in June due to coronavirus.

House and bari are beautiful MashAllah. I get what you're saying that for some reason a lot of the new houses look similar style, maybe it is the architects and builders are just copying each other.
Love the video bro, really enjoying all the content. I think people sometimes say they prefer town over village just because there's more to do, more excitement, more shops and restaurants etc. For children the bari is a bit boring and for girls especially it's really boring and repressive. But, I think i would love just relaxing in the village and enjoying quiet rural life.

This big houses not looks comfortable coz of inside not planed by professional . Too big and no plan for inside comfort. Never seen any pray room All the houses i have seen very disappointing.
