Dope riding! !! You should come to Switzerland to our location in Ticino (italien part of Switzerland) we have a good boat there for some riding and a nice apartment where you guys can stay.
Friend of me is very board-affine (was skateboarding in his childhood and a lot of years snowboarding) and he needed 2 years training (1-3 Times a week) to get really good. I am not talented like him and i was not training that much and I am still at the beginning of learning tricks ^^. So it depends on you and the amount of training. If you are talented and you train a lot, you can be a really good wakeboarder after 2 years (but not as good as JB for sure ^^)
It would take at least 4-5 seasons to get to JB’s level, but you can get quite good in a single season if you ride a lot. Defo can learn all the basics + a lot of the intermediate stuff in a season. You could be landing basic flips, 360s and other cool stuff.
