A delightful but steep walk on Storrington Rise in West Sussex, England, going up toward Cissbury Ring on the top of the South Downs with stunning views across the Vale and some dramatic skyscapes.
This area is on the northern cusp of Worthing about three miles from the south coast, whereas Storrington village is about seven miles further north from this location.
Cissbury Ring (not filmed) is at the top of the Rise and is an Iron Age grass mound hill fort. It is an 82-hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest which is owned by the National Trust and is designated a Scheduled monument for its Neolithic flint iron mines and Iron Age hillfort.
I will film Cissbury in a future video for your delectation and perusal, so be sure to be subscribed and turn the notification bell to 'ON' so as not to miss anything.
In the meantime, please enjoy this video and share it with your friends.
Sam.
