LAHDC Leh bids farewell to outgoing Com Secy Rigzin Samphel
Leh, April 06: Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, today accorded warm farewell to the outgoing Commissioner Secretary, UT Ladakh, Rigzin Samphel (IAS), in a function at the Grand Dragon Hotel, Leh.
The Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Leh, Advocate Tashi Gyalson; MP Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Dy. Chairman, Tsering Angchuk; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse; Executive Councillor, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee, Ghulam Mehdi Ashoor and Stanzin Chosphel; Leader of Opposition, Tsering Namgyal and Councillors of LAHDC Leh expressed their gratitude to the outgoing Commissioner Secretary, Rigzin Samphel, for his valuable contribution for the benefit of the people of Ladakh during his tenure.
Speaking during the event, CEC Gyalson appreciated the selfless contribution of the outgoing Commissioner Secretary, Rigzin Samphel, especially in laying the foundation for the newly established Union Territory of Ladakh. He highlighted that Rigzin Samphel has been a jewel for Ladakh and have left a lasting impression on the people of Ladakh.
MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal expressed his gratitude to Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel and stated that he was an impactful bureaucrat, and the Ladakhi people would never forget his contribution in all the sector. Similarly, the leader of the opposition, Tsering Namgyal, in his note of thanks, stated that Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel is truly a son of Ladakh, and the people of Ladakh would never forget his selfless contribution for the betterment of Ladakh.
Addressing the gathering, outgoing Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel shared his working experience for the people of Ladakh. He appreciated the coordination between LAHDC Leh and the UT Administration during his tenure. Commissioner Secretary Rigzin Samphel also shared that it was a dream come true for him to work for the people of Ladakh in his hometown. He highlighted that LAHDC is a premier institution and the public representatives of LAHDC have a big responsibility on their shoulders to work for the people of Ladakh. He expressed his hope to see Ladakh prospering in the future.
All the Councillors of LAHDC Leh, led by CEC Tashi Gyalson, MP Ladakh, JTN and DC Leh, Shrikant Suse, felicitated Rigzin Samphel with traditional khataks.
