my cousin kuya john and his wife ate leslie were visitng from New York at the time and my mom and the same day, she was like: "Alex's host family from Japan and their little daughter Shiho requested a cover of this song let's invite John, Leslie, and Jane, and Lisa over and have you guys do a cover of this song." so this one’s for them! and i had the video edited, but never posted bc i wish we could’ve gotten a better take haha, but eh there’s only so much you can do with a couple hours of putting it together. s/o to our bg dancer: guitar capo
but this past summer, our Grandpa Jaime passed, and he was very much a huge influence in the musical aspect of our family and i’m so blessed to have my grandma help him, lola linda, and my cousins get from the Philippines here into the US so that we can sing and play together like this with family❤️ &so this video is for him and we know he’s playin his piano up there and singin w us rn 🕊️
