As a purple connoisseur I can tell you that the color name you're looking for is Indigo. Persian indigo to be exact. It's the current color of my hair! (Not seen in the picture but on my Insta.) And I'm so glad you did a look with this palette! I missed out on The Book of Magic because I was indecisive & didn't know it was limited edition. I am definitely picking this one up though. Just so it will match my hair lol. 💜

I CANNOT get over how amazing their shadows are, I bought the New Romance palette on a whim and they sent the Sunset palette as a free gift when I purchased a bunch of stuff and wow was I blown away they perform better then some of my very expensive palettes. The shimmers and metallics are next level, and I am a purple and blue fein so I can't wait for this!

Love this look - it's all the colours I love the most. The not-quite-blue, not-quite-purples are my favorite shades. Yes! Love Mr Ballen ❤ Found him this time last year and have been obsessed ever since. If you're not watching the strange, dark, and mysterious in story format - why not?

Oh.my.GOD! Who gave you permission to be this damn good at makeup?!?! In all seriousness this is incredible! Happy to of gotten my hands on this palette (arrived 2 days ago), truthfully think it’s more inspiring than book of magic. It’s jewel tone/grungy makeup lovers dream! You killed it lovely! 💙💜 P.s. squeeled at the fact you have to beautiful black babies 😊 makes my heart happy that others hold a space and love in their heart for black cats. I’d be lost without mine 🖤

I’m sooooo glad I found your channel! I think this is my favorite look I’ve seen you do so far. Your personality and the looks you create just make your videos addicting to watch. MrBallen is the best storyteller. I love the one about WWII and the pilots at the Japanese island. It’s a horrible story but the twist at the end is insane. I actually gasp. I loved hearing stories from my grandparents and great grandparents about Prohibition. We Americans were a bit nutty at times. Not much has changed 😂. I’m going to look into your Patreon.

Grrrl, I live for these absolutely AHH-mazing eye looks. I wish I had an ounce of your creative ability. I just discovered you, so your older videos keep popping up in my feed, hence the late replies. Thats a gorg color story w/ crazy pigmentation & what you pull off w/ it is luscious eye candy. Love! Love! Love! you seriously kill it w/ every eye look. After a year of "no buy" it's great to be back in the makeup vortex again.

Not purple & not blue = indigo? I didn't even finish watching this video before I went and ordered this palette lol I missed out on the book of magic so this is semi going to fill that empty hole in my heart lol I also ordered the Nikki tutorials palette and the mini pastel one you always rave about, I just got them because they were on sale so I figured why not give them a try!
