this whole drama is just funny and pointless but on the other hand she did literally break the law because she falsely advertised a beauty product which apparently is a big deal and there’s a whole law against it
the funny thing is i’ve used telescopic for YEARS and it gave me lashes as long or longer than the fake lashes 😭 but i just have naturally medium length lashes, but i personally didn’t see why this was blowing up. it blew up more than any other crap thing people in the community did.

the reason so many people are upset w mikayla is bc she broke the law. it’s false advertising and the l’oréal partner hashtag and promotion tag weren’t visible so you wouldn’t know it’s an actual promotion unless you looked for it

In 2018 ( maybe before that ) , Mikayla said something that was transphobic which is now considered hate crime. She said that it was not her but I don’t think I believe her.
i think the brand may have asked her to do this bc i realized that after this whole drama happend a lot of beauty influencers or just people eho did makeup not even for tiktok started to buy it and try it and find that it was actually a good mascara which makes this sponser in a way successful
I also think that the reason makeup isn't doing so well is because of skin care. Like a ton of c3lebs have a skin care brand and has that skin care routine video by that one channel, and if you put make up on improperly, you can get acne/spots.
I love these podcasts because most of the arguments are things that I agree with and never get to talk about 😭 side note - I heard this from a very unreliable source so pls fact check me on this but I heard the same girl defended a brand with like a non-inclusive contour thing or something??
