Hunt means something different to everyone. Even with dark and hellfire all around we can still treasure those beautiful and glorious moments in the bayou of Louisiana. What does Hunt mean to you? #BeautyOfHunt #HuntShowdown #Crytek
Agreed! It could be a nice possibility for us to make even more community content, especially for those who can edit videos, but lack in other means of arts
The game has a REALLY bad engine that its just barely surviving on. They cant even add more players into the matches because it would be too much for it. So i think a lot of in-game QoL features that we want will never come for this very reason
@@St1ckyGreeN on the developer stream they told they are going to introduce soon a quest mechanic. Not a campaign but something that would make the game more "porpouse full".
@@djula29 Same. I don't even care for online FPSs much, or battle royale, but damn, this game got me hooked. The aesthetic really does make the game in a lot of ways, and the creative locations. But it's just a solid squad shooter as well. I'm still not all that good at it since I've never played competitive shooters much at all, but something about this game makes it seem within your grasp even when you get slayed, and want to play again to improve. The team tactics are just fantastic. Most FPS games are terribly unfriendly to new players, but Hunt just works. That said you really need to have friends to play with to make it good.
I'd love to see a cinematic like this where we see the locations before it's downfall. Like running through lumber, or goddard, seeing them full of life then it fading to what it's become
What a masterpiece, so glad to see progression Hunt Showdown has made and the games speaks for itself, the atmosphere is unlike anything else and to experience this on PC is another level. Best horror game I've ever experienced and the dark country vibes are so my thing. Keep up the amazing work Hunt.
I wondered why for some time why I come back to this one video. I realize that as long as I have been with hunt, there is something to be said about the Beauty of Decay. The Bayou, the plague, the music, the night and day. We know it doesn't matter. In the end, we are only playing in a footnote of history that is Hunt Showdown in 1895. We are experiencing the last dying breath of a generation. And while we don't know what the future of Hunt (In the game and in real life) could be, I think that this trailer reminds us to appreciate the times we are spending with it. All I can say to the team is bravo. Thank you for continuing support for this awesome game.
Hope you can get one friend! I had to wait ten years to get my dream pc. Literally got it last night and played hunt this morning and was soooo happy. Don’t quit working and you will do it
hmm not quite. The cinematic have a boosted anti-aliesing, increased draw distance and depth of field to make it looks better. I think they boosted the lighting a bit as well. Considering it is Cryengine, I bet it would take a 30's gen GPU to run this 60fps. That being said, the game as it is looks very beautiful already, but horribly optimized because of said engine. If you don't remember or never watched E3 first gameplay presentation, take a look again. You'll see the downgrades that had to be made.
@@thewhiteape1686 Ok, my man haha. You have a great rig, fine, we get it. But saying that disregarding the equivalents and their requirements out there in comparison is just... I don't even know what it is haha. They did made great improvements a few patches ago. And they're planning some more. But when their E3 demo was no hot in FPS, their gameplay presentation pre-launch was like 30fps at best. You just cannot say that haha ofc there is a few Hunt Showdowns optimization guides for performance and improvements in gameplay that revolves around downgrading graphics as much as possible in order for your targets to become more clear and improving reaction times. That makes the game quite accessible, actually - considering the 'best' way to play is low settings. But when we talk about how beautiful the game looks (which is the goal of this cinematic, mind you!) and the requirements to go 120fps.. its like, yeah. The game is made in Cryengine alright.
This game is absolutely stunning, but also thanks for the beautiful community, I’ve had met countless people in hunt and i value every single game I’ve played with them
OH my God that ending gave me chills running up and down my spine and goosebumps everywhere else. That moment when your clutching hard and get dropped then your team mates come through, the exactment that comes with that keeps me on the edge of my seat is why I love this game.
oooh, so that's how it looks like when your random teammates bring you back from the dead, never seen that before but in all seriousness, a fantastic short with actual footage of the game, keep it up you beautiful people from crytek
I've been playing video games since Pong. Invented first 3D real-time controllable surround sound system for simulation in the late 80's, worked on the first Nintendo 64 games and sound tracks and others to follow...but Hunt Showdown is the best game I have ever experienced. Nothing touches it's gameplay, intensity, beauty and the amazing sound system that drives it. Thank you, for creating this masterpiece and for always pushing it forward.
One of the cool things in this cinematic is the sfx, it's exactly like you're in the game and someone res you. this cinematic just gave me goosebump. I mean a lot of goosebumps I didn't play this game but I like the cinematics (I have the game tho but didn't play it)
Been playing this game for 3 years and still finding little details in the environments that tell a story of what was happening before and during the outbreak. Amazing.
One of the best games I've ever played. Thanks to the whole team behind Hunt for this great game. And now in German: Eines der besten Spiele die ich je gespielt habe. Danke an das ganze Team hinter Hunt für dieses großartige Spiel.
one of my most favorite games, there's nothing quite like this game and I don't think any game has nailed the creepy atmosphere nearly as good as hunt, truly just a masterpiece
once again i can only state how much I love Hunt, the world, the sounds, the players both the nice and the evil ones ;), the jumpscares, everything, it was a game i walked into not knowing what to expect and it is easily one of my favorites of all time. keep it up! and thanks for sharing such a great piece of cinematic with us
I really wish if they make a show they should make it in game animations like this trailer this is beautiful. I wonder what the story behind the tier 1 hunter and why they wanted to bury him alive.
Y'all gotta remember, the more freedom they give us the less its this type of content amazing you. I literally got goose bumps while watching this. Imagine everyone could do this, it would loose its magic entirely, and im fine with only one Crytek magician show for now ^^
It’s so easy to be desensitized by playing this game so often just how much detail goes into the map artwork and these trailers give me a renewed sense of love for it all over again
this was a fantastic video great job and the editing was perfect this video alone proves a hunt Showdown series or movie we will be very great and breathtaking to watch
Hunt: Showdown is such an amazing game, but sometimes a little break does you good. Me and my friends have been playing a couple of mostly single player story driven games in the last couple of weeks. But I can't wait until we get the band back together so to speak and return to Hunt! It will feel so good after a short hiatus. ;)
Hunt is everything that I want from other games. And they all fail at it. I love Hunt! It's a masterpiece. A piece of art. Gaming done absolutely right! Thanks!
I play on Xbox series s and I'm totally in love with this game, I just can't stop playing it. I really hope they upgrade the graphics in new gen consoles, they are pretty capable of doing better, because right now it looks not even half as good as it does on PC. This looks gorgeous.
i love this game and fully belieave it is in a league of its own for sound design, gamplay, atmosphere all of it. and the fact they are constantly updating the game and somehow making this masterpieace better. cant wait to see what is coming and how im gonna die next
I love the revive sound at the end… so freaking sick 😂 such a great feeling when you rez your fellow hunter and then you hear that sound…. Only to get headshotted again from 200m😂 But seriously though I’m so close to 2000 hours in this game and I’m so excited for the wild targets, new boss, and new map coming.
This game is a masterpiece. Very satisfying and yet extremely annoying at times, when I miss my shots. There's no other game with same visual quality and atmosphere as the Hunt: Showdown. Please keep up the good work!
Beautiful but the nights in game are not as dark as in this video, at all? I wish they were just like in the early access. That being said the game still looks amazing, one of the best traits of the game not to mention the amazing sound design when it works (cellar audio bugs for example).
@@okss1991 The reason everyone was camping was because many/most of the people adjusted their graphical settings and gained an "unfair" advantage. The only chance you had when dealing with people like that was to camp somewhere close to a well lit area and hope someone passes that place so you can actually see them. If everyone was on an even playing field, and needed to use lamps etc, it would have been what it was supposed to. I remember a round with some friends, where I needed to wait for an enemy to shoot before I could return fire, since I couldn't see them in the dark foliage and had to shoot back at the muzzle flashes... The best solution is to probably remove the night time from the rotation, and allow people to pick it only if they want to.
@@Acerrzzz I for example hate the noon day time. Sky looks like a white screen and the sun is worse for the visibility and destroys the atmosphere. Just personal preference though.
@@theMoldynugget Search for Hunt:Showdown Evening sun (sorry if the answer pops twice, my internet is not good at the moment and theyre coming to fix it in a few days)
It would be amazing if you could interact with the coffin like a normal door and out comes a grunt. Please make this happen! Would be such a cool detail.
