I‘m always turned off by brands with huuuge marketing budgets like when they gift designer bags or regularly take influencers on fancy vacations. It makes me wonder if they are putting less budget into R&D and quality formulas/ingredients

I LOVE the light tir tir i rely on my own opinion not any one else's but you definitely have some persuasion in certain thing i bye considering non acne prone products which are almost everything you review lol but I think im definitely gonna like the BOJ long term for sure. You are right about Tirtir ....BUT i adore every product i have bought. That milk skin is AMAZING. On the other hand BOJ is more average compared to tirtir .At least to my skin......

Thank you for sharing the shady practice from tirtir. Now I know why their tirtir cushion foundation got so much hype. I bought into the hype and tho it's not a bad product, but it oxidizes so much seems to reveal their technology is still behind other cushion foundation. So even when they offer so many shades, but the oxidation causes the shade to go 2 shade darker (and turns orange) is not acceptable. And now i know they give expensive gifts to influencer, the hype must be generated from the same influencers.

Is this better than the ordinary's new saccharomyces toner.

I’m From rice toner did nothing for me. But I am dryer now so maybe it would be better. I want to try the Mary &May idebenone toner. Heard good things about it. I have used the Laniege one but it’s pricier than what I want to spend.

would love to know how milky / thick this one is compared to the i'm from toner - I like the texture of that one but it has too much niacinamide and makes my skin tingle 😩

Great video Sarah. I have seen 2-3 reviews on TitTir cushion foundation and how great it is, but when researching thru products, something turned me off about them, now I know. Would YOU PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON CABBAGE EXTRACT IN SKINCARE? I follow a Korean young lady that really raves about the many benefits of Cabbage. I too have such dry skin. I exfoliate my body, face, yet still so dry. Even with chemical exfoliation and glycolic lotion on my body. Grrrr, it is what it is. I must say, my skin isn’t as dry and dehydrated as it once was, due to great skincare I’ve been using. Please, don’t ever apologize for letting us know about a brand etc. I know I appreciate it. Also just saw an article about fancy perfume brands (L’Oreal, Lauder etc)encouraging child labor in the picking of jasmine and other ingredients. SO hard to be sure that where you spend your money isn’t financing horrible things.

For these toners, would you think it would be okay to put it in a spray bottle? I personally like watery toners in a spray bottle. For thicker/viscous ones, of course I'd have to use my hands to pat it in since spray bottle wouldn't work for that.

Tirtir...wow. Never had an interest in trying the brand thankfully! I'm a little disappointed that BOJ chose rice for their milky toner, apparently there isn't already enough milky rice toners out there 😂 I like the fact that they added kaolin to it though!

TirTir made my no by list after I heard about the purse, but I was already not feeling it when I saw influencers my age talk about how the cushion foundation settles in lines and breaks up too easily. I’m From burns my eyes and the HaruHaru one made my skin sensitive after a few days. I do like rice products in sunscreen (HaruHaru airy) and moisturizer (CosRX overnight) though so maybe toners are just not my jam

I've never been interested with TirTir. Their products seem so meh lol nothing special imo. The I'm From Rice Toner didn't work for me. Not sure if I even want to try the BOJ. I'm happy with the toners I'm using.

The red tirtir cushion foundation that it's been hyped sounds light a nightmare for my very dry skin, i saw some reviews that i trust and it will emphasize any dry patch and it will feel super cakey. Also i hate high coverage foundations, i spent a lot of time and money into my skincare to show my skin (i'm joking) but i feel that a high coverage product it's only flattering in some few skin types. Also the velvety and transfer proof claim sounds horrible for my skin. So big no no

After I heard about this Birkin gifts, I'm sorry that I spend my money on their products. I can't return them anymore, so I will use them up, but I'm not buying anything from them anymore. What I dislike the most is bragging and showing gifts on social media. One brand gifted the same person a cartier earrings, another paid her a trip to Korea

Doctors receive incentives from pharmaceuticals as well, things like vacation packages to exotic locations, spas etc. in exchange of prescribing and promoting their meds to their patients. Sooo 🥴

Tirtir is very thick and sticky for my combination skin. Rice toner also did nothing.

The wash off mask looks amazing, I might have to buy it. Even though I decided last week I would stick to sheet masks as I haven't had much success with wash off masks 😅 I think I'll wait for more long-term reviews Thanks for the quick and great review as always :) Also, as someone whose skin does not react well to niacinamide I'm happy to finally see a rice toner without it!

Tir Tir gave Mikya Makeup the crazy chic from TikTok they gave her a Berkin Bag, I think I sent u the message the other day . Makes me sick really they could freaken give it to animals children that need it not Rick tik tok liars . Makes me have thoughts about the brand for real and not good thoughts. The only thing that intrigued me was the peptides in the toner now I'm not bothering. Their are so many other toners to try besides Tir Tir and I got the Kaine Kombu toner and love that one reminds me of the effect u get from Amorapacifica green tea toner , I actually thought about buying the full size till I got this Kaine toner . Excited to hear thoughts about the BOJ new toner . I saw their ginsing toner and a bunch of their products along with a ton of K beauty and other good brands at Marshals the other day even the K18 hair treatment and oil .

The pricey gifts to influencers seems like bribery. Taking the gifts shows a lack of character. Letting the gifts influence reviews destroys the influencer’s credibility. It seems that some influencers feel obligated to give a good review for products sent to them in PR when it’s clear that they’re not impressed. I’d rather have honest reviews like those you do.

What I don’t understand with this logic is this: just because a company gives you products for free to review doesn’t mean that you have to lie, or love it. Sure you will not be given free products again, but would you tho? If you genuinely love it, good for you, and if you don’t then you haven’t lost anything. I’m not against sponsoring, as back in the day this was the norm and completely normal. Suddenly it’s seen as evil it self. If you get promoted by a brand you love, trust I don’t see how that’s a bad thing? Also westerners especially Americans need to stop polluting the world with their culture wars. Korea isn’t America. A different culture, different mindset and values. This idea that the rest of the world needs to adhere to American values to be seen as human, equal and civilized which is nothing short of an imperialistic mindset and settler mentality… of course giving away products to influencers worth the cost of s Hermes or Birkin bag, is clearly too much to sway someone to love and protect their products. A brand that doesn’t need to buy popularity and approval says way more about a product if it’s good.

The Tir Tir thing makes sense. The initial level of marketing seemed normal, but when a brand is too saturated it comes across as a red flag to me. I go with my intuition and not the trend. The circus is entertaining on some levels. I am all about a milky toner comparison video! 🥛🤍
