Thank you for covering this brand! I've been curious ever since I picked up a face cleanser to complete an online purchase. I actually like it and I'm going to try out their powder foundation as soon as I can.
Loved this video! I am going to check this brand out although finding shades that work for me might be really tricky. I don’t get on with many of the ELF products I’ve tried, but this brand might be lots better for me.
I found a blush on clearance at Ulta but it was too light for me and I ordered a brush cleaner and like it. Otherwise haven’t tried the line but will. It’s very affordable. Thanks for sharing.
Oh man, I really want to try that cream to powder foundation, but I’m allergic to beeswax. Still cool to see it though! I’ve never tried anything from this brand, but I might have to try the powder foundation!
Hi, Jenessa. I just wanted to say, I am a beekeeper and have been for a while. You are not allergic to the beeswax, you're allergic to the pollen in the beeswax. Much of the beeswax used in cosmetics has been melted, filtered and strained to remove the pollen. 👍
@@kellyross4801 thank you for that, I wish it was what my dermatologist and my allergist were telling me. But my allergy is not to pollen, it’s actually to propolis. I’ve been told that medical grade beeswax doesn’t contain propolis, but the beeswax found in cosmetics and skincare can and so it is to be avoided. So technically I’m not allergic to beeswax (unless it contains some of the components of propolis), but it’s much easier to say I’m allergic to beeswax than to explain that I’m allergic to this other stuff, which most people haven’t even heard of, and how the stuff I’m allergic to might be found in the beeswax in this product. (I really don’t intend for this to sound mean, because I know your intentions are good and you have knowledge on this subject, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to tell people they are or not allergic to something, since it might confuse some people. Trust me, it’s confusing enough even with two very good doctors guiding me 😅)
@@jenessastrickland1555 You're good! Propolis allergy is even rarer. Propolis, or "bee glue" is something the bees make from chewed wood pulp, water, and enzymes. It can chink up cracks in the hive, weld comb in place, and so on. Some hives make more than others. It has antiseptic properties, and dissolved in alcohol can be consumed. It is separate from beeswax, tho, and would separate out from it when melted...but by all means, don't put yourself at risk. I just suspect you're getting advice from people who don't know much about bees. 🙃👍
