Disappears Instantly
Reviewing fragrances is a particularly enticing part of my job as a professional beauty writer. By the time I was 12, I was wearing Guerlain’s Shalimar, and today I have more fragrances than shoes. Dedcool’s Sunlit Blooms is a favorite of mine, and since XTRA Milk has amber as a base note, I thought it would be a good fit for me. Sadly, it is not.
The weird thing about this fragrance is that it disappears on my skin completely no matter where I spray it. I can tell where it was because it leaves a telltale sheen behind, but my nose can’t pick it up at all. I sprayed it on a tissue and was able to pick up a very slight hint of bergamot, but then it was gone again. I don’t know if this means that I’m incapable of smelling white musk, or if the fragrance just doesn’t work with my chemistry.
I’m rating this one star, not because it’s bad, but because I simply can’t detect any of the notes even seconds after spraying it.
