The latest Dusk and Dawn sightings. The beavers are now showing pretty well as the daylight hours are getting longer. The willow blossom was falling on the water, at times like snow.
There was a surprise visitor at dusk - a Male Mandarin duck. Very handsome and a first for the Beaver enclosure. Hope they join the long list of flora and fauna that the Beaver habitat attracts. Mandarins are generally established in the UK now.
At dawn the Water Shrews were very active and managed to get a few shots - they are so fast and just dash about.
Once again it was great to be out with the dawn chorus and the rising sun casting across the water, and of course some beavers! I'll be checking out the Beavers in the new enclosure soon, we may potentially have a new family there!
