Beavers can help build resilience in the face of climate change.
In a rapidly changing climate with humans and wildlife facing monumental pressures, finding solutions to adapt, mitigate and (where possible!) prevent the impacts of these climate and ecological crises must be our priority.
But how much can beavers really help us to address these challenges?
In this video, Megan explores how the valuable role they play in shaping our river ecosystems can influence climate resilience.
We're delighted to have worked with ‪@wildintrigue‬ to produce these videos.
We envision this series being used widely for a variety of audiences across different host platforms from school lesson starters accompanying a lesson pack, community hall screenings and more. If you would like to host these videos or use them in your curriculum, please get in touch via info@beavertrust.org.
