@@suyunbek1399 It's actually a hint toward buying debuff remover, at least I would assume so. A player would think "Hey this should be removable" and look in items to find debuff remover.

@@thunderspark1536 I have a vid showing Bebop double bombing me, then using ethereal shift to avoid all dmg, sleeping the Bebop and getting a triple kill after that with my Haze ult. Its strange AF they would mention/imply that over ethereal shift which has a 16 second FASTER cooldown. Both are good to have in case the Bebop does 1 bomb at a time after learning what u have and if there's heros like Kevin and Pocket. But ES is WHAT U NEED FIRST and makes Bebop an F tier liability. I don't get why anyone would use him when stuff like ES exists.

@@carbonpulsar Probably because using haze in that specific scenario against a bebop is pretty niche. Even if you are specifically running haze and specifically buy ethereal shift, not every enemy team will have a bebop. What you did is what I like to call, good game knowledge of that very specific scenario. Which is a good thing to have, but it's not something your average player or even high level player will need to know. Especially since avoiding the bebop bombs in the first place is generally better.

I think this is a good middle ground. Punishes going super aggressive to build stacks but lets the build stay viable.

A friend of mine is in shambles over the "lose stacks on death" part still. His entire strategy was to double bomb himself and to suicide charge into the entire enemy team. 20+ deaths almost every match. He's not very good but maybe this will force him to learn... I hope...

This partial revert is good enough; you get faster scaling in exchange for risking losing some of it if you get washed.

I'm not going to lie it's extremely satisfying to negate bebops bombs with my dynamo teleport. Early game you can see them tilt when non of their bombs connect. Hook is still super scary lol

I was sad about dead bebop but new bebop is really nice as a bombop player. feels more balanced. the combo is really smooth now. still having ghost cast problems though

Now he's just very incosistent because you either snowball even better compared to what we had before or suffer from losing stacks so bad that it's unreasonably hard to recover and comeback from dying even a few times. No other char loses anything from their kit on death and it feels that much worse that not only you werent getting new stacks while dead but also lost a bunch for even daring to show up on minimap.

Always makes my day to see some jonas game play. Love the vids always learn ways to improve on the game. Didn't even know you could heavy attack someone with urn to make them drop it. Also question what was the item you suggested getting due to having an issue with hooking stun heros like moe and krill? Cause i struggle against heavy stun comps in general and with bebop.

They instantly revert bepop changes and still leave Yamato to die a gruesome death by herself. I guess there aren't enough Yamato mains that can complain for them to notice.

I think the yanato changes were a little much as well but she has been a top 5 hero for a long time, they will probably adjust her soon

If you are losing more stacks than you are gaining, thats a major skill issue. This is the strongest Bebop has been.

great builld jonas, do u think we can put more focus into green items like improved spirit and bullet armors after echo shard to make sure we dont lose stacks? I am new and trying to learn the hero i have 4 games on bebop. Would u suggest going for greens more at the moment? Love that u keep theory crafting i am an absolute nerd too and love to see you representing us all nerds on the big stage.

Isnt improved spirit a purple item? I never buy bullet armor on bebop cause he has passive bullet reaistance + echo shard has some too, its more about the playstyle. But i did put in spirit armor earlier than before yea! Thank u!

I think the main issue is people don't like playing against 200% would getting the percentage on stacks progressively smaller help? Say 3% till 66%, 2.5 till 133%, 2% till 200%, 1.5 till 266%, and so on...

Yeah thats not a bad idea, but i also just think there are still so many stronger heroes in this game. People just like to show the few games where bebop oneshots someone but it very rarely happens and there are tons of counters

@@AverageJonasThe problem isn’t necessarily how strong Bebop is relative to other characters. It’s more so how one ability forces so many of the enemies to buy counter items. Debuff reducer and spirit armour are almost a must against a good/scaling Bomb Bebop. And Bebop himself has a lot of ways to counter Debuff Reducer or other items such as Shadow Weave. No other character in the game forces so many other players to spend on multiple items to counter one ability. While it may not be the most overpowered thing in the game, it’s not exactly healthy for the game.

Nah there are other ways of balancing thar doesnt completely ruin the fun/lategame potential. Valve has a lot of experience with infinite scaling mechanics from DOTA which is prob why they reverted it

@AverageJonas as someone who mains gray talon: his recent changes definitely hurt but it's not all bad. He still has the same poke and his gun specs are now top notch, especially when building hybrid which he wants to do anyways; his only major pitfalls now are the sluggish attack speed in the early game and the lack of roaming capabilities in lategame from losing that free movespeed. I think the best way to currently help him feel better is to give him a way to increase his attack speed within his kit, or to make his ultimate more reliable (imagine, what if you could cast it like a mirage ult and it fired like a wraith ult, I'd paint my house white)
