yeah ive noticed a few of these saying the 50s be sounding like the 70s. as good as the AI is doing though im sure it will work these kinks out lol. unless the poster just mislabeled.
agreed. Sound doesn't quite fit and drums and beats need more swing. Easy to dial in, I guess .....in post. Nonetheless, still good and funny and I recognize being in MS during the time this original artist was easy to see in a barroom near MS State campus / Starkville.
I was going to recreate the original 1959 version, AI got high. Its was supposed sound so old, but AI got high. Everyone is calling it out but the song banging and we know why! Because AI got high.
This is really exposing how generic most artists are. This was created with Suno, an AI program. There's always an off putting uncanny valley to all of these songs yet they're not too far off from mainstream music.
This brings back memories - it was the 80's at the height of the crack epidemic. My brother Bobby became a junkie, lost everything, and passed away. We had so many good times growing up, but the drugs took over his life. I still remember the day the cops showed up at our door, telling us they found him unconscious in an abandoned building. The paramedics tried to revive him, but it was too late. I miss him every single day. I wish I could have done more to help him, to save him from that addiction. But the crack epidemic was raging, and it claimed too many lives. I'll never forget Bobby - his smile, his laugh, the good times we shared. Rest in peace, little bro. I'll carry you in my heart forever. Rip Bobby 🙏
Dude this shit MIGHT be catchier than the original… I’m not 100% on that yet so don’t attack me yet but whoever is the chef behind these melodies, they are 🤌🏻
@@xKalphax ? Because it is not a real song.. This is AI, and the maker think it is a 1950s style song but not, it sounds more ends of the 1960s / 1970s..
Once you do a country arrangement...the lyrics just fit. When a song's been set in a genre, that's what u get. Because of this -song lyrics will be understood!!!!!
Man, this bring back memories. My old man played the bass on this jam. He told me they got F*CKED before every show. He said he left his bass guitar in the ladies restroom at the Apollo Theater, found three days later.
This music is not Ai generated, it's "REAL" soul Artist - Jessiby Dickinum Album - Jessiby Spitting Game Artist Born - April 1, 1938 in Jackson, MS ...it would help if the poster would write the artist's name and album. The only fake here is saying it's Ai music and fooling users.
I used to love this tune, played quietly in my bedroom so M and P couldnt hear. It was 1982, I remember it was kept from reaching the No.1 slot by Michael Mcdonalds 'I Keep Forgettin'.
Man this record dropped in 59' but no one understood the concept of being "high" It failed in record sales seling 25 records, but This track influenced the sound of Soul in the years to come. This song also created the terminology we use today of being high. He was waaaaay ahead of its time. Sadly Raygun Charles died in 63' in a shoot out with the pastor of his church. Legund...
Interesting. Surprisingly good. I agree with @andreypolidor1986 that it doesn’t sound like 1959. Early to mid-70s vibe with the keyboard and background
We laid down our weapons, because we got high. We soooolved world piece, because we got high. Everyone was hungry, because we got high. So we planted food for everyone, because we got high. Then we cooked it, because we got high. And then we ate it, because we were high. Then we all made everyone equal, because we got high. And then we started seing the lights, because we got high. They came dooown to us, to get high. Then we talked about everything, because we got high. After that the World was a better Place, because we got high. So let´s all repeat after me and get high. Because being high, comes from the Sky. So get high with me, high high so high.
