I am thankful for the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of Him, I have been able to overcome temptations and trials. He has made my weaknesses into strengths. He has given me comfort that death is not the end, and that like Job, "in my flesh, I shall see God." Although I am imperfect and I struggle, He offers me grace. He shows me His way. He tells me to let go of grudges, and when I do this, I can rise above the hurt. He tells me to avoid things that are harmful temptations, and when I do this, I can rise above my addictions. He tells me to repent of my sins, and when I do this I can become a better person. I know that I can accept His help by turning away from my bad habits and replacing them with His habits, like prayer, scripture study, and loving others. I know that my saviour Jesus Christ lives! And because He lives, I can rise above the things of this world. Although I may still struggle, have sadness, anger, and heartbreak, with His help I can make it through.

I love this so much! I am so grateful for Jesus Christ, who is so willing to reach out and lift anyone through anything. Just fix your eyes upon him, put your blinders on and take a step forward. He will walk with you and bring others around to help lift. I am learning to trust this myself. You are loved. You are known. xo

I noticed that Pastor Washer didn't clarify what what it means to "repent" and "believe the gospel". Each church has a different meaning for that. What steps are good enough to qualify for salvation, and yet not be a result of works? What does it mean to "believe"? The truth is that you cannot "believe", without choosing differently as a result of your faith, showing a continual repentance. "Faith without works is dead." We must CONTINUALLY put our trust in Christ by choosing Him at every crossroads. And that is how we change. Stopping things we shouldn't do, by replacing them with things that we should do. The Lord changes our heart surely and slowly, as we have faith to do what he would do, and stick to it. Everybody struggles, but without a life of choices in the direction of God, and distancing ourselves from sin, what proof do we have that we've changed? Did God not ask the Israelites to obey His commandments, and to be his chosen people? A light on a hill? an example of righteousness? We must do what God says in order to accept his gift of the Atonement. "21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21 "13 For how knoweth a man the master whom he has not served, and who is a stranger unto him, and is far from the thoughts and intents of his heart?" Mosiah 5:13

Jesus Christ offers forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life for free! That is how much God loves everyone! ❤️ I John 1:9 If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift 🎁 of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace ye are saved through faith and that not of yourself it is the gift 🎁 of God; not a result of works lest any man should boast.

At this stage of development of humanity, it's highly unlikely that people can escape physical death. A few people (like Enoch) have ascended into Heaven without an intervening bodily death; but the infrequent nature of such outcomes tends to discredit the premise that "You can rise above anything"..

I am a born again / protestant believer in Jesus Christ. Not a morman. I am not sure if Mormans are Christians or not cause y'all don't believe in the trinity. You don't believe in the deity of Christ. The whole baptism of the dead thing. You think marriage is forever. Even though God's word the bible say we are single in heaven. (My paraphrase of course) The "temple eligible" thing The white uniforms /chef hats Celestial room thing. I mean you must agree that staff is out there That being said y'all are great at "Evangelism." I'll use that term for the sake of discussion. And y'all stress family values. Why should I heed Joseph Smith...he demonstrated not one miracle

That's all nice, but the problem is that Mormonism is another gospel warned about in the Bible. "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." - Galatians 1:8 There is only one God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" - 1 Timothy 2:5 Jesus Christ is God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God....And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." - John 1:1, 14 Salvation is by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9 "But as many as received him (Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name" - John 1:12 The blood of Christ washes away all sin. "In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" - Ephesians 1:7 The cannon of holy scripture was closed at the ending of Revelation. The true Christian faith was once delivered (past tense) to the saints. There is no further scripture from God. There is no “another testament of Jesus Christ” as Joseph Smith would say. The 66 books of the Holy Bible are sealed forever as God’s word. “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book” - Revelation 22:18 “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” - Jude 1:3 God does not dwell in temples. "God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands" - Acts 17:24 Please Mormons, reconsider your faith. You are very nice people, but if you want to go to Heaven, "niceness" and sincerity won't cut it. You must be born again (John 3:3)! When the Lord Jesus Christ (who is God in the flesh) said you must be born again in John 3:3-8, he was talking about being born of the Spirit. This is the indwelling of the Spirit in a new believer who realizes their own sinful, wicked state and turns to/agrees with God that nothing they do can save them (including “sacraments”, good works, temple recommends, etc.) and they, by faith, call on the Lord (and him alone) to save them, receiving Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and trusting his blood alone for the forgiveness of all sins (Romans 3:25, Revelation 1:5). “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” - Romans 3:23-28 KJV

The line about the Savior rising is absolutely cringe-worthy. Go read the Book of Mormon, go read the Doctrine and Covenants, go read the teachings of Joseph Smith, go read the bible. Those words resound with truth from God, and the words in this video do not. If those scriptural words can be loved because of the truth found in them, stop putting up spiritual nonsense like this and parading it about. It is an embarrassment to the restoration.
