Becca Kufrin was on Season 22 of the Bachelor. The Bachelor that season was Arie Luyendyk Jr. She got engaged to him, then he quickly ended that engagement. After that season, she became the Bachelorette and got engaged to Garrett, dated for a while the went through a very public breakup which was really hard. When she was ready to get back into dating, she decided to go on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, which was 2021.
Thomas was on Season 17 of the Bachelorette. The Bachelorette at the time was Katie Thurston. During his time of the show, he was seen as the villain and only there to get the role of Bachelor. Katie saw that and sent him home. Then he went on Bachelor in Paradise Season 7, which was 2021.
Thomas came onto the beach first, then like about 2 weeks later, Becca step onto the beach. They had couple of conversations, but for the rose ceremony, Becca gave her rose to Aaron. A couple days go by and Becca get a date card and take Thomas on that date. Then it was all smooth sailing, until the last day before the finale. They decided it was best for them to break up and leave the beach alone. It only took them a couple week before they realized that they didn't want to be with anyone other than each other.
Now they are happily together and enjoy life one step at a time !
