This song is carrying my oldest memories of 1964 when a friend of mine Mubarak Ahmad sang it in the college. It was very nice night of December 29 1964 when all teenagers were enjoying with singing songs. Now some of those disappeared from this earth. I m now 75. Mirza Muzaffar Ahmad Faisalabad Pakistan

This is one of best song by great Talat Mahmmod . Music by C Ramchandran is also superb. Talat Mahmoodji is my most favourite singer. His silken velvet voice touches my heart

I remember I had an audio cassette of Talat in 1978 I can sing nearly 20 songs of him full . Of course not in his voice . I feel it is a mixture of Rafi's and Mukesh..

Talat Mehmood had the legacy of breaking the ice when most of his contemporary singers were copying Sehgal. Talat's velvety voice quality broke the ice and a new voice was captured that later would get crowned as the Ghazal king of Bollywood. More than anything else he was an astute gentleman and a simpleton person. Tried acting initially but didn't click in acting.

Youyou look quite ameture in this field ,there is lot of scope to improve upon.lt is a fast rhythm song requiring particular stress on each word.It requires some amount of breath control.

I had two versions of this song ,second one may be rerecorded by company because of ORIGINAL must have missing and public demand . Due to age the second version did not appeal me. Both were by Talat only
