There’s no real reason for her to turn heel. Nia is a natural heat magnet, Chelsea plays the Karen character to perfection. But Liv as a heel? No, she needs to stay as this ruthless, unpredictable antihero face to stand out and not blend into the background
Fully disagree. Both Nia and Liv would proffit from a longer story arc building up to a championship. Becky on the other hand can be a believable champ whenever.
It's unfortunate that there were only 3 believable/ credible possible winners for the battle royal(liv, nia n becky).Yes they could've had a fresh start if they made any other woman win the championship as a surprise. But isn't it sad that you have Candice, Zoey Stark, Shayna, Natalya(who has been working in wwe for 15 yrs), still all of them are booked as mid card or jobbers. It's time to build a Zoey n Chelsea...they have lot of potential

Nia deserves the win . Liv is high mid card . Not world champ but women’s champ. That world championship needs to be held by the heavy weights. They need to start separating the classes of women. Becky, Bailey , Bianca, Jade …etc . Liv is good but she really needs to put on a 5 star match not just a good match.
The classes of women are separated. You got the 4HW (3 remaining) who are treated like royalty, your shiny new toys (Bianca, Rhea, Jade, Tiffany, etc.) then you got high mid card (Liv, Nia, Naomi, Raquel), then the jobbers under them 😂. Everyone is booked accordingly.

I rlly wanted Liv to win but I do think she should win the title via pin or submission. Becky should not have won that match cus she literally just lost at wrestlemania. If anything Liv or Nia should’ve won. But I understand Liv has history with Becky, I just hope this leads to her finally winning. Also I think Liv needs a long run and has to beat Rhea at least once during. Her reign Cus then Rhea can then try to bounce back and win

Poor Xia Li; she was great, but WWE just used her and then released her. They never gave her the chance to prove what she could do. If only they had booked her better, she would have excelled. Even after they released her, she still spoke well of WWE and thanked them. You guys can see how gracious and respectful she is. Y'all in the comments wouldn't be good bookers and it shows. Liv winning is way too predictable in a battle royal format. Becky winning after the table spot makes her appear way more dominant which would elevate whoever beats her way more. Liv being the last eliminated would put her in a #1 contender spot where she can battle becky to be the one that gets the chance at rhea as the clock for her return is ticking, and that would build a lot of monentum for both of them! Otherwise what are we gonna do? Have liv win and taunt rhea for 6 months? Also dominik helping Liv win the championship and calling rhea a deadbeat just like his dad would tie everything so nicely. The fans are super behind rhea and dom backstabing her would make him more hated and Rhea more loved. And obviously Liv would have way more heat as a heel too.
I was hoping either Becky or Nia wpuld win so im very happy! Becky deserves after her incredible 2023, and fighting for opportunities for NXT and Raw women (which a lot of a certain stanbase seem to ignore/rewrite Becky's reality) Also, it makes sense to give it to the "safe choice" in Becky on the back of an injury changing plans. Sure, you could bring forward Liv's title win...but then what? This way, the title is in the proven hands until they can decide how best to proceed with the story
I think people are panicking for right reasons HOWEVER Rhea’s injury probably knocked off months of storyline. This is WWE panicking too and going to their safety net. Liv will still get her time, people should let them re-write a story for the show
It's long term storytelling. Becky is brilliant at building people up. If Liv won the title here, her revenge tour is done and her run would be dead. She now gets time to build her heel character, get the crowd against her and build her credibility by beating Becky in the end. Trust Paul everyone, he's got this.

I think Liv winning the title last night wouldn’t have made that much sense as far as building Liv as credible but also giving a proper payoff for Liv. Liv fans want her to get the big moments she rightfully deserves…but it’s like why have it be diminished or cheapened by her basically just getting the title in a battle royal?
Becky winning makes sense, I'm not sure why it's hard to get for some people. She went through the whole division to prove she's the best, but WM proved she was only second to Rhea. Rhea's gone now though, so she's in first place by default. Liv, on the other hand, has proven herself to be a loser with her amazing 14% win rate (1W-6L) in 2024. The math was mathing here, ladies. I believe this win is actually good!!! Its going to help Liv Liv's feud with Becky literally put her as one of the top stars. Becky has always made sure to put her opponents as stars. At the same time, Liv beating Becky at Backlash is going to solidify her heel turn
Yuka unfortunately did injury herself in the early stages of the match. Emi jogging around the ring after her, playing to the crowd and fucking around with the merch on the outside was her killing time for Yuka to make sure she's good.
I dont wanna see ANY hate on Bayley in these comments because her and becky are champs. let me remind you, Bayley hasn’t held a title for 4 years, has jobbed for 2 years and has put herself last and has helped build up and make new stars for the last 2 and a half years since returning from injury and before being injured. Becky won a title on the night of her return off of the upcoming star (bianca) who bayley and mercedes spent that whole year helping build up. and has held 5 titles in those 4 years. with 3 of them being within the last 12 months. (not to mention becky took a title from Bianca, Tiffany and Dakota & Iyo as they were all rising stars. She also got a token NXT and Womens Tag title reign jus so she wouldn’t be behind the other WAY MORE TALENTED Horsewomen) WAY different situations.
Y'all are still living in the trauma of the previous regime and have no trust whatsoever in how good storytelling can work lol. I actually think giving it to Becky now was the right move, because this will only make for an even bigger moment when she ultimately drops the title to Liv. It will be a lot more interesting (and satisfying) for Liv to have a full heel turn moment in the chase and then get the title, rather than just giving it to her right away. We can revisit this in a month or so and if I'm wrong, I'll eat crow. But I totally see where they're going with this and I'm invested.

We haven’t had an elimination battle royal for the women’s championship in such a long time. It was great to see and was always one of my favorite matches.

Loved the Bayley and Naomi match, it was nice to see Naomi wrestle someone who can actually handle her offense and not just crumble under her. That bulldog through the ropes was the best one I’ve seen since she’s been back to wwe

I wish liv would have won honestly , they could have given her a desperate title run , she would win some defense matches , but then she would start winning or losing with DQ’s or countout’s in some matches so the belt would stay with her no matter the outcome of the match , creating an overall desperate and obsessed title run untill rhea returns to challenge her for an extreme rules or an iron man match so she can’t escape , you can even have liv handcuffing herself to the belt as a last resort , idk but that “crazy “ title run would really work for Morgan at this moment and for her character because she always seems to on the boarderline of unhinged , she genuinely doesn’t need Becky to put her over , I’d rather have one different, memorable title run rather than another mini title run between 2 people until rhea comes back as a filler story , they could’ve used this moment to build liv even more so that when she faced rhea both wrestler would have had a nicely , long , built character arch’s that compliment eachother
